This is a beautiful restaurant, right in the city centre, and the food matched the surroundings. The only let down was the inattentive service, very good when they finally arrived, but getting their attention was very difficult. They missed the opportunities to serve at least...2 more rounds of drink, frustrating for us, but very costly for the owners!More

Awe we had the nicest family meal here yesterday it ticked all the boxes!! The food, the ambience, the setting, the staff and the cocktails! I taught I made an online booking which wasn't the case (I dunno what happened) but the girls where so...helpful and let us dine anyway! We had the most nicest and friendliest waiter (Gavin) he was very obliging and attentive to our table, made a few recommendations and everything was delicious! I cannot wait to return with no kids next time to take more advantage of the beautiful cocktails!! People told me it was a bit pricey, I did not think so for the quality of the food, drinks and service!!More

I made the reservation about 4 months ago.. it was a special occasion as it was for my best friends 60th Birthday. I had noted this on the reservation so that the restaurant was aware.. it counted for nothing.. We were greeted by a not...so friendly lady at the front of house.. She showed us to a a cramped table just after the entrance which was very draughty ..after asking if we could move we were then shown to a table further into the restaurant right by the bar..another tiny table where we had to sit on stools.. with nowhere to put your hand bags.. there was another table at the edge of the room free and I asked if we could sit their.. the same front of house lady told me no and that the table for 2 was being pushed up to another table to accommodate a larger group. This was not the case..shortly after another couple took that table.. please bear in mind that this was meant to be be a birthday celebration.. My friend and I could see staff looking at us and so obviously talking about us both. This was very unprofessional and made us both not really wanting to stay.. however we had starters.. which was ok... But then.. My main was served . Risotto.. it was luke warm.. over cooked and soggy in places and not cooked in others.. I did not make a scene but politely told a waiter.. he took my plate away with no apology. After about 10 minutes the manager of the establishment came to our table and apologised for what he described as over cooked risotto and proceeded to ask if I would like a other one.. no thanks was my response... In fairness the manager tried to make amends and gave us a free cocktail each and then produced a desert with happy birthday on the plate and a candle for my friend.. this was all a little too late. We both left feeling. Very underwhelmed.. very let down... and still hungry! The front of house lady needs to learn customer service skills and mind how she speaks to customers...More
