We happened into this pub, as we were starved when we checked into our hotel, and this pub was just steps away. We were so pleasantly surprised! We found the pub to be friendly and welcoming. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. My husband ordered...More

This is predominantly a sports type bar, tvs in all areas. Full selection of beers incl craft beers, wines, cocktails etc. There is a bar menu also which is not expensive.

4 people and the only thing we ordered was fish and chips all around. It was really good. I'd eat it again. Great beer selection and comfortable seating. The waitress was a little rushed but I think they were short staffed.

We had reserved dinner for 15 persons. On arrival the staff seemed surprised. The was hardly room for us and it was not comforatble. I payed for a starter and a drink i never got. Waitress had a bad day? Food is hardly average.

This place has a good beer selection. Missing the peanuts though. Nice staff. Got here with friends and ended up staying for hours.

It was bucketing down outside, so idea of knocking back a pint over a fish & chips and a Stew lunch sounded like a plan. Akin to somewhat boring rugby match on giant tv screen (this pub is really a sports bar) the two dishes...More

Good pub near the hotel I stayed. Food was typical pub food. Staff was most welcoming and service was efficient. I enjoyed going there at the end of the day for a pint to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. It gets quite busy...More
