The food was great, some of the best fries we had while in Ireland. Great burger, fish and chips and excellent beer selection.

Visited this place with friends last weekend, the food and service were great. We visited with a child and the staff were very helpful on finding a slightly larger table because we had a buggy. We would visit again and I definitely recommend this place.More

Between the service, atmosphere, music and their massive selection of beers, this has become a firm favourite amongst my regular pubs in Dublin city centre. There aren't many places where you can get a pint for a fiver in Temple Bar but this place delivers...More

I've always liked the Porterhouses in Dublin, obviously for the great selection of beers and spirits but there's also just a nice atmosphere and even when it's crazy busy you'll always find somewhere to mill around. I had food here one night but I can't...More

The place has a great buzz, especially when there is live music playing upstairs. We didn't eat here. They make their own stout (which I have to say was very good), however they advertise it as being better than the 'the others', which I took...More

We visited on a Friday afternoon, by the time we left early evening the place was bustling. We sampled a few of the darker ales and some of the pale ales. All were very tasty. Definitely would visit again

I agree with Ann - the place is very big on several floors. But it's also quite crowded. So I would suggest you booking in advance.
