About
Peploe's is chic, sophisticated and probably the bubbliest restaurant in Dublin. Refurbished in August 2017 to a beautiful finish reminiscent of an old world Paris brasserie but with the quirks of a modern New York Bistro. A visit to Dublin is not complete without a visit to Peploe's St Stephens Green. Vegan/Vegetarian menu also available.

A warm friendly welcome, relaxed ambiance with fantastic food and excellent service. A true gem in the heart of the city. Only two minutes from the LUAS, bus and taxi rank. The perfect restaurant for a leisurely bite to eat. Exceptional value too for the...quality of food and service. Highly recommend Peploe’s.More

Superb evening. We used to eat regularly in Peploes when we lived in Dublin around 15 years ago and I was a little worried by some of the recent reviews that it may have changed for the worse. It hasn’t at all. It’s certainly not...the cheapest restaurant but you very much get what you pay for. Buzzing atmosphere, warm and efficient service and first class cooking. Scallop starter with bacon and a gorgeous pumpkin sauce was to die for and then the duck was cooked perfectly. Add an oozing salted caramel chocolate fondant for desert and it added up to a perfect dinner. The wine list is also good, not the tome it used to be to be fair, but there’s something for everyone. Definitely a treat restaurant but couldn’t recommend higher.More

Went for a family dinner. We were looked after very well by staff and everyone enjoyed their meal. The only thing I will say is that the vegan option, which was a chickpea stew, was quite bland in comparison to the other food options. Still...enjoyable but not quite on par with the rest of the menu.More

Nice place, the service is spot on! Didn’t even realize them around and my glass was always full, French onion soup, reallly good!! Duck as main, gratan was bit dry and not much flavor there! The foie gras you dont even see it or taste...it there Monkfish dish too simple bit bland Deserts: none of them were nice! Creme brûlée is too small, to shallow and consistency was wrong wrong wrong, the o my thing you feel is the burn sugar. Soufflé was unbalance totally And fondant unfortunally over reheated! The bad impression was under our plates, all of them had this sand feeling in the bottle, and my friend found a piece of cheese stuck on the bottle of hers. After a pandemia I would expect to be a little more hygienicMore

The service in Peploe’s is always superb, but last night Juan Carlos the gentleman who looked after us, took that to another level. World class service. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and incredibly attentive. Add to that the freshest perfectly prepared seafood and the most inventive sides...and a wonderful choice of wines and you have on e of the very best in the City!!!!More

This is a very beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance. The wine was lovely, from their Elio Altare selection and mains and dessert was amazing. The only reason I wouldn't give this a 5 is because I couldn't have a vegetarian starter as I didn't...like the one option given. Even the soup wasn't vegetarian. Also, we seemed to have the only waiter with an attitude problem and when I asked him to check if one of the starters was in fact vegetarian it was like I asked him for his kidney! Maybe that's his 'thing' but for these prices it shouldn't be!More

Definitely won’t be back again, miles overpriced for what it is. To be asked to pay for some bread on arrival at a restaurant is a bit unwelcoming, courses are small so you’d need to be ordering sides with the mains and deserts costing €15...each, just ripoff - basic deserts like creme brûlée or strawberries & cream! 2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of wine was north of €160, we skipped desert. I was genuinely hungry soon after leaving the place. Wouldn’t recommend, there’s much better options around.More

Extremely beautiful restaurant, fantastic staff, menu really lovely, extremely pricey, 6 adults for dinner, we all had different dishes, what I had I enjoyed, but to be very honest guys it’s way too pricey, ham hock for starters , lamb shoulder for main, two of...the most cheapest of meats , and then I had an amazing desert, one bottle of wine I consumed, as I said we all had different meals, six starters six mains and six desserts , plus six bottles of House wine, our total bill was €702 , unbelievable that they put a service charge of €80 , I really think this is taking the mick guys, cheap cuts off meat for them prices, would I go back, absolutely not, but your staff are 💯 , I just wish Irish restaurants would stop ripping people off,.More
