About
Peploe's is a chic, sophisticated restaurant, and probably the most popular in Dublin. Refurbished in August 2017 to a beautiful finish, reminiscent of an 'old world' Parisian Brasserie, blended of a modern New York Bistro. A visit to Dublin is not complete without a visit to Peploe's St Stephens Green.

Without doubt, one of the best restaurants in town. Not cheap, but the ambience, service, food and wine were in our opinion completely flawless on our visit. Strongly recommended for any type of occasion.

We were staying at the hotel next door, The Shelburne, and happened to see this walking by. We stopped in around 7:30pm without a reservation however were provided a table. As we had a late lunch, we were not looking for a large meal. The...waiter that took our order was very abrupt as my wife ordered the scallops with a side of duck fat potatoes while i ordered a main dish of Chicken Milanese. We also ordered a glass of wine each. The waiter said we needed to order a minimum of 2 apps each and/or a main each, we said if that is the case we will leave. He took the order and left, that was the last time we saw him until the bill was presented when he literally slammed it down on the table and left. The dishes were delivered by busing staff. No offer of water, coffee dessert etc. we paid cash and left. Food was OK, 3 out of 5. Avoid this place.More

I would highly recommend this restaurant. This is our first trip to Dublin and it made a huge impression on us. The food was incredible. The service staff was amazing as well. Claudia was friendly and engaging and spent time talking with us. Asaf was...our waiter and he was attentive and friendly. He’s also stunningly handsome!!!! I can’t recommend this place enough.More

Food absolutely beautiful, was with a group of 12 and the atmosphere was wonderful. A bit claustrophobic in the restaurant, tables were pushed into every corner and it felt a bit squashed and cramped. The host we had was fantastic and she knew everything on...the menu and her recommendations were accurate and well appreciated.More

We had such a wonderful dinner, on walking in the atmosphere was, as usual, lively. It was great to see familiar faces, an excellent team of staff. The food was just so tasty, service excellent and wines so good. We would highly, highly recommend Peploes...for any occasion. Just wonderful. Martin & Sarah WhelanMore

Went for dinner with friends. We had the 3 course set menu. Unfortunately the food was terrible. The arancini were dry and basically inedible. The the main was black curried monkfish which I was really looking forward to, however it was so overcooked it was...hard. At that point I didn’t even bother with dessert. The waitress was efficient but actually came across as pushy and a bit rude. Won’t be back as there are too many good restaurants in Dublin.More

Peploe’s was highly recommended by a coworker who said it was the best meal they had in Ireland; it had been recommended to them by another coworker. I agree that it was the best meal I had in Ireland (I loved the baked aubergine parmigiana)....It’s just a lovely restaurant and the service is wonderful and attentive without being annoying. The only negative aspect and something to keep in mind is that they require a credit card to make a reservation and will charge you full price if you are a no-show.More

Three of are lunch, rang to say we were delayed, nothing was a problem. Great table and super menu. Wonderful wine recommendation and we had prawn to start with. Really nicely cooked and presented artfully. Fillet was cooked perfectly and really good sides, chocolate fondant...was top class as well as the cheese plate. People who cared for us, did so in very welcoming way. It was a great experience thanks to you allMore

Both food and service were amazing. Had a group of 5 for dinner...they sat us on time for our reservation and the service was spot on. We all loved our food - seafood pasta, steak, monkfish and a vegetarian meal....everything was delicious. Stayed to share...a couple of their amazing desserts and even though we were over our reserved time - they were very accommodating and we never felt rushed.More
