Since everything was closed during the hurricane, this was where I chose to spend my day. I had the traditional Irish corned beef which was great. Their portions were large and for a great price. The best part of my time there was the sense...More

Wanted a nice breakfast and that is what we got I and dave had kippers which were a little overdone but the two poached eggs on top overcome that. but for the price which was €34 with drinks for four of us weren’t bad. Large...More

If you only eat one place in Dublin this will be the place for a lasting food memory. Over 300 years old, many tables and a few "snug" with a wide range of entree options from the carvery. Got there just after the heavy lunch...More

The atmosphere with mulit level seating was just what we were looking for in an Irish Pub. The food was good, ample servings and we felt very comfortable even though there was a large crowd for lunch.

Filled with locals and tourists, can get busy for good reason. We went for dinner for which there was a variety of local food offered. At 9:30pm, there was live Irish dancing and music...excellent! Highly recommend a visit here.

Came here especially for the Irish stew as seemed to get good reviews and recommended. Wasn't terrible but certainly wasn't great. Those who had the roast dinner said it was good. Servings are huge but personally I'd rather quality over quantity. Atmosphere was fabulous however.

It all sounded delicious but when we got up to the carvery they were out of turkey and pork, so we settled for the roast beef and sausages. The meat was ok, but the sides were all pretty bland. Terrible set-up for picking your food...More

We had visited this Pub several years ago, and at the time the prices were very good as was the food. This time around the atmosphere in the pub was still good. However the food, price and service was average. My meal of ham and...More

We recently had a lunch at this pub and found it to be fantastic. We ordered from the carvery and there was so much food we just could not eat it all. Definitely value for money. The service was great and the location is brilliant....More
