O'Neill's has a special place in my heart now. We stumbled across this place, walked in and the atmosphere was great. Lively and cozy all at the same time. Typical Irish pub furnishings. We went in December so it was very festive and decorated in there. for around 10-14 euros, you get a huge platter of food (pick your meat),... More

Queueing for food for nearly 25 minutes. At the carvery section I asked the woman for a fry and she told me I would have to order that at the til so continued to queue. When I finally got to the til I was told it would be at least a 25 minute wait for a fry. I don't understand... More

The staff at Barnacles Hostel recommended this pub to me for food. It's not a cheap, budget option but it's not too expensive either and you get loads for your money! It's aimed at tourists more than locals but, still, it had a great atmosphere and was packed. Finding somewhere to sit was the first challenge, then working out how... More

Was looking for a restaurant with good Irish food/selection and fun atmosphere - found both at O'Neill's. Menu includes both dishes "To Order" and those from a cafeteria-style selection. Group of four, three had cafeteria style orders and one did ordering - short wait on cafeteria style and 30 min wait on order (which is clearly stated on the menu),... More

Everything was perfect from the service to the food to the atmosphere. Seafood chowder is to die for, but share between two as it's super rich and hearty!

First Irish meal in Dublin and it was fantastic! Located near Trinity College this bar/restaurant was a great experience. Grab a menu find a seat and then help your self to a cafeteria style food experience. Grab a tray and tell the server behind the counter your items of choice. I happen to choose the Irish stew and they gave... More

Great pub, great staff and great breakfast! The menu choice was very varied from the traditional full Irish, to pancakes, to poached eggs with spinach and ham. All washed down with a perfect pint of the black stuff. My only advice is to book as it was very busy and many were turnt away.

If you want to taste traditional Irish food, you should go and try it here. There is a kind of buffet in which you select your dishes and it is not expensive. The Irish Stew is delicious and huge!

We ate here every night of our stay in Dublin. The pub is usually quite busy so finding a table is a bit of a sport. But we always found one. Once you get your table, line up at the carvery and browse the evening's menu as you wait. Certain items are there every night, and certain items change daily.... More
