Dropped in to McDaids before the rugby and it was packed. Traditional Irish pub with walls similar to a lovely Trinity college library and good Guinness. Small but very likeable little place

This typical irish bar looks as if time has stood still inside. Lots of great photos on the walls and a great atmosphere. We visited mid afternoon so it was fairly quiet but I'm told it gets very crowded so choose you times to visit. Its not big inside but being just off Grafton St its a must visit.

If you spend a few days in Dublin, this pub needs to be on the to-do list. It's one of those almost ancient pubs that have dark wood panelling everywhere bar the floor. Behind the bar are shelves full of Irish spirits as well as all the standard ones. Wherever you look is something to talk about and they've got... More

Nice, old style pub with a decent pint. A busy spot most of the time. Pint is overpriced though so you won't be spending all night here.

Dropped into this pub with some friends on a Thursday late afternoon there was a good crowd this would not be hard as the premises is small. Once inside you get the old Dublin charm of a pub stood still in time nothing has changed in the 25 years since I was last there. Pints are reasonably priced staff are... More

Had my first-ever pint of Guinness at McDaid's, and I felt like I was living the full Irish pub experience. A little raucus yet civilized, I really enjoyed hanging out there and drinking a beer.

Located on Grafton Street, McDaid's delivers true Irish flair with a cozy pub full of traditional Irish decor. We enjoyed a variety of local whiskeys with a great bartender...Dave! McDaid's closes a little earlier than the pubs in the Temple Bar area. Nice place to stop and talk to Dave...Irish attitude and a good heart!

McDaid's is a lovely genuine Dublin pub. Not really filled with tourists, it is very much a local hangout. Good service, great location for a quick drink when you are taking a break from shopping on Grafton Street.

Stopped in here for a quick pint which went down very well. Seems like a great place to sit & relax & enjoy some people watching & you do feel like you've stepped back in time owing to the great interior.

Always a great spot. The Guinness is one of the best in Dublin. Always love the atmosphere. Andy the barman a great character. Highly recommended.
