Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating and made us feel right at home. The food was some of the best I've had in Dublin. The setting and decor is on point also. Can't reccomend enough!

Went tonight to have a dinner out with my sister who came to Dublin specially to celebrate my birthday and we choose the green hen as we see it was looking good, it was a special occasion for me, we had a drink and dinner...everything was fine the staff was good with us (a girl) we finished and obviously we paid for everything, them we left after me and my sister decided to walk around temple bar as I was very excited to show her the atmosphere around them we got surprised with the approaching from a guy with a security searching for us and saying that we have to go back to the ristorante to pay our bill saying in front of everybody it was very embarrassing and I feel humiliated from him, I said what we paid our bill obviously he noticed that he was wrong and when we back to the place he tried to offer a free drink to cover the mess that he did and he cause definitely he ruined my night and after that we didn’t feel happy to enjoy our night I think he judge us, we paid everything and we just want to have a nice night, does he goes after everybody or just us that was the question.More

Amazing service! Exceptional experience! The atmosphere was chilled with a picturesque bespoke decor - all topped off by staff who were upbeat and appeared to enjoy the time as much as the customers. Beautiful food - Hake & Chicken for mains with a delicious crushed...almond & cashew trifle for dessert. We were welcomed even though being 30mins early. Warm charming staff gave a fantastic first impression. The interior is an absolute picture - we were so impressed and knew we had hit gold. Following our meal we had cocktails in the corner of the bar. After being to a number of cocktail bars around Dublin since lockdown this was a stand-alone 5 star experience. We were made feel as if we were the only two in the restaurant by the barman & manager who seated us. The Green Hen is a gem of a restaurant & as a Kilkenny man working in Dublin I am giving it the highest of recommendations. Keep up the exceptional standards & look forward to returning in the near future. Míle BuíochasMore

Amazing food and customer service. The staff were very accommodating when one of our group was running late. The Green Hen serves a proper pint of Guinness, perfectly cooks steak and the wine recommendations from our waiter were perfect. Great experience and will definitely be...back.More

Beautiful authentic French restaurant in the heart of Dublin. Dropped in for lunch, menu is small but doesn't disappoint. Opted for that days special, chicken schnitzel, so tasty, couldn't fault it one bit. Soup for starters was equally as nice. Staff were very nice and...service was excellent. Highly recommend visiting.More

From memory there were options. I found them very accommodating as I don't eat certain foods & they substituted for me. Check out there online menu or mail them.

They do have an email address but Trip Advisor reply process does not allow me to include HTML or website links. Search for Green Hen online, click Facebook link and then additional info. That should get you the email... More
