A brilliant pub with loads of great beers and food. The atmosphere is second to none and Darren is such a nice guy he will let you pet his parrot .

Popped in for a pint whilst visiting family in Dublin. Lovely old pub and a decent pint. Shame about one of the bar staff (bald bloke). Didn't feel welcome at all. He was making fun of tourists paying with cards rather than cash, as I...stood there being a tourist paying on card. Poor attitude. Can safely say I won't be going back, plenty of other more welcoming pubs to go to next time.More

This was a nice historic bar with good drinks and helpful staff. I'd still take Gravediggers pub over this one but it's still a very good choice.

Lovely welcoming Dublin pub that knows what it does well and doesn’t try to be all things to all people. If you want a great pint, served by professional and courteous bar staff; this is your spot. A great bar and unfortunately a dying breed.

Best pub in Dublin, few enough of these old pubs left, no comparison betwixt this place and one of those makey uppy thrown together super pubs. This is an authentic pub that hasn't likely changed much in 100 years.Plenty of snugs, proper bar men.Always packed unless...you have a significant drink problem and turn up at opening on a Monday morning.Had some great nights here with the lads and latterly with the now wife.More

The 2nd best pint of Guinness I had in Dublin this week, sat outside was a nice spot and staff were a good laugh, would recommend

Visited Sunday can’t believe how awful these toilets are. (Shabby and not in a shabby chic type of way, the smell of damp overpowered the other awful smeIls.) I was with some friends from abroad and was so embarrassed that this very popular and busy...bar would have such dreadful facilities.More

Just off the upscale pedestrian shopping Grafton Street, this is a tremendous spot to pop into at any hour of the day or night. Professional bar staff who will not leave you waiting or avoid eye contact regardless of the crowd, some great snugs, or...stand outside regardless of the weather. Lovely mixed crowd of local office workers, students, tourists.More

I hesitate to say too much about this place. Too good to share almost. Best pint, period and if you are lucky to snag the snug then you have hit the jackpot. Friendly staff just adds to the afternoon. We just had a few drinks,...but hey that’s why we go to Dublin. A proper pub !More

There’s no doubt about it but when you go back home to Ireland, there is an expectation that everyone should know you (they don’t!) and that you should know where to find the perfect pint. Thankfully, Kehoe’s is always 100% for an exceptionally smooth pint...of Guinness. Couple that with the friendly staff and clientele and you’re in for a lovely time. Kehoe’s is loved by everyone but you mostly hear dulcet Irish accents; the decor hasn’t changed in 20 years; the bar staff are fantastic....and that’s why it transcends the passing of time. Looking forward to my next visit!More

I would agree with Kbono14 about Keoghs. Maybe worth a try at Doheny & Nesbitt if you want a true Irish pub experience (Baggot St) or assuming your son eats meat (I'm taking dairy to mean cheese, milk & eggs) I can truly... More
