Having found this lovely cafe on a solo visit last year, thought my husband would like it on this visit, so had dinner here on our first evening. Food excellent - I will admit to having exactly what I had when I ate here last...year, as I enjoyed it so much - husband had one of the burger options & said it was one of the best burgers he had ever had (& believe me when I say he is something of an expert on this subject!) & he made a point of telling the gentleman in charge, We were chatting to said gentleman (the owner?) & said we would try to come back during our 5 day trip, which we did the day before we left, & this gentleman & one of the other staff members remembered us, which was lovely. We has one of their made-to-order pizzas, the SoHo, which was absolutely delicious - dough was thin, delicate & pretty much melted in the mouth, topping was plentiful & we demolished the lot. I am planning a solo trip later in the year to meet old friends, & would most definitely make a point of eating here again & hopefully having a chat with the lovely people who make this cafe such a delightful establishment. Thank you to everyone concerned - we have been recommending you to anyone we talked to on our travels.More

Been going to gotham for years and it never disappoints. Sriracha prawns and cheesecake not to be missed. Great value and service.

Used to enjoy the Pizza here, unfortunately not anymore, scrimping on toppings, if it says nduja on the menu I expect it on the Pizza, obviously cutting corners, we were hungry and ate but the a frozen pizza would have tasted better, what a waste...of money, avoidMore

Early start to my trip & hadn't eaten at all en route, so was a tad peckish by 4pm! Looking for something light & fresh, & this cafe looked very appealing, as did the menu. Opted for guacamole & salsa with accompanying wraps - absolutely...delicious & obviously home-made. The staff I encountered were all delightful, especially the charming gentleman who served me I would make a point of eating here again next time I am in Dublin.More

Would have gone to Gotham in Stillorgan a lot. There, it was mainly families, where the pizza/burgers appealed. Not sure if the same works in the city centre, surrounded by so many other restaurants. Burgers OK, nothing special. Expensive for what it is.

Stumbled across this restaurant, we hadn’t pre booked but that wasn’t an issue. The menu is varied and the pizza selection was fantastic. Perfect for lunch during a busy day exploring Dublin!

What an amazing evening we had at Gotham. Seriously, the cusomer service far exceeds anything I have ever experienced. I felt visible - I felt heard and I felt that these wonderful waitresses would have done anything to ensure I and my family had the...best food and the best experience ever. Yes, we left a tip, however I think that it wasn't near enough for the exceptional time we had. Yes, the food was good too. My belief is that you can't have one without the other, good food and good customer service equals and excellent evening.More

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Friendly and attentive staff. Very good choice for gluten free meals. The only issue we had was that the desserts were very small and that’s why they lost a star.

Located in a lovely part of the city, Gotham Cafe serves tasty food in an appealing setting. We particularly enjoyed the guacamole, the salmon, the burger and the warm seasonal salad with sweet potato, cauliflower, spinach and more. This is where we first figured out...potatoes are amazing in Ireland. Great and fast service. We had an early dinner and it was a glorious sunny day, so it was fun to step out afterwards and see everyone gathered in front of the neighbouring pub enjoying their pints.More

Great place to stop for dinner. They’re just off of Grafton Street, but still on the more affordable side. The staff were friendly, even though it was getting busy around 17:30. They have an interesting selection of dishes. We had the Upper East Side pizza...(which is wood fired) and the chipotle chicken and charred sweet corn. Both were delicious and they were willing to swap goat cheese for feta cheese. They also have options for gluten and dairy free pizza, which we didn’t try, but would definitely consider on a return trip. If you’re traveling with kids, be mindful that they use Rolling Stone Magazine covers for decoration.More

If the review was based on the food it would be 5 stars. The food was great. The waitress on the other hand, from the second she arrived at our table was cold, rude, and snarky. She kept rolling her eyes and never once smiled,...not even a fake smile. She made it clear that everything was an inconvenience. I am not sure what her name was as she never introduced herself, she was maybe Brazilian? She had a braid and glasses anyway. Also, they wouldn’t make an Irish coffee… they have all of the ingredients but said they couldn’t.More

Review is purely based off my meal and not that of those with me. Visited Gotham today. Welcomed nicely and a very friendly and attentive waiter. Ordered a steak sandwich with no relish or tomato. Arrived promptly, all good so far. Picked up one of...the crispy onions. Stone cold and I mean stone cold. Touched the end of the steak and the middle with my finger and both stone cold. Not even kind of warm. Was like I'd made hours ago and gone back to (not suggest Gotham served me something like this just showing the point of how cold it was and how hard it was) Highlighted this to a waitress who said she'd change it. 4 minutes later meal arrived back. Originally it had been about 15mins from order to food which I'm of course ok with but 4 mins to cook any form of steak sandwich and plate it up. Seems odd. Crispy onions again stone cold. Steak now hot but totally overdone inside. Convinced I'd just been served my same meal reheated and or replated I didn't even bother highlighting at this stage. Other than the fact I'd a 2 year old who was hungry I'd have left. Really not impressed at allMore
