Boxty House is amazing. I went for my birthday and again the next night because it's so good. Easily the best restaurant I've been to in Dublin. Jackie the hostess and Mike my server were super friendly too.

Very popular spot. We found it packed, but they managed to find a table for us in the basement seating area. Reasonable value for money, especially in the Temple Bar area, and service was very good.

This is a busy place but the food was well worth the wait. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We had a blood sausage stew and a smoked salmon stew with potatoe dumplings.

Hello Danielle, we usually recommend reservations for large groups, but if it is just two people it is easier to get a table at lunch time.
