A nice option in Temple Bar if you want to try something different. The boxties are good but a bit expensive in our opinion. We enjoyed the dinner but would not go more than once while visiting Dublin.

We called in here after for lunch and were not disappointed. The food and service was great, the whole place seemed to have a lovely relaxed atmosphere, would definitely return if in Dublin again.

Went there for brunch (boxty and poached eggs) and dinner (lamb stew and Irish bread) and loved it both times. The people always had a smile, the food was hot, well seasoned, and so full of flavor. I couldn't stop eating it! Unfortunately, I never left enough room to try their wonderfully-looking desserts. Another reason to come back! Thank you!!!

We had the valentine dinner special with a great merlot ( having a break from Guinness),gone early as only had breakfast and there was a substantial queue when we left. Sat by the fire, so cosy. Staff were friendly, helpful and gave us time to make up our minds. Bacon ribs were tasty and not too filling, and the pear... More

A good lunch with some tasty local brews. Very good service from Jules who was spot on - friendly and helpful with a little beer tasting to help us decide :) The champ mash was extra delicious!

My wife wanted to try a "Boxty" so in we popped and we were not disappointed! The service, food and atmosphere were great and the options excellent. I really enjoyed my corned beef dumplings and my wife had a chicken boxty, the prices were very reasonable and we would certainly eat here again.

I decided to eat here due to a recommendation from a friend and I am glad that I did! The food was so delicious and I was so excited to try a Boxty!!! I was very impressed with their beer selection at a restaurant and enjoyed the staff very much. We even sat at the bar to eat to decrease... More

We used our Citysightseeing Tour tickets to get a 2 for 1 deal on a special lunch menu here at this atmospheric restaurant in Temple Bar. The menu had a wide range of options on it including stews, a burger and variations of the famous Boxty. I had a bacon burger with fries which was different and tasty. A friend... More

Had dinner at the Boxty House and was not disappointed! I had the tenderloin boxty and the flavors were amazing! For dessert, we had the warm chocolate cake. Need I say more? Every bite was delicious and very inexpensive.

Went here for an evening meal on Valentine's night. Very busy but staff were friendly and attentive. Meal was lovely and totally stuffed after 3 course. Boxty is an interesting food, but nothing special as far as I'm concerned. One criticism is poor lighting, made reading the menu a little difficult. All in all I would return but no rush.
