We ate at this little gem on the day we were leaving Dublin and what a way to finish a fantastic trip, all 5 of us enjoyed every mouthful, the boxty fries are amazing and a lovely touch one of our group had a terrible sore throat and the waiter brought her a complimentary hot honey and lemon, cannot beat... Whoever conceived the idea for this restaurant had a passion for potatoes it's certain! The humble potato has been brought to almost an art form in terms of sustenance local Provenance and the feeling that you are participating in a very local deep-rooted tradition. This is comfort food and very much home cooking style but it works and we enjoyed... More

We visited Dublin during a bussy period, so finding a nice place to eat was difficult. Great restaurant with polite stuff, delicious soups and good prices.

It's a tasty place for dinner. We had the Gaelic Boxty which was a steak smothered in mushroom peppercorn gravy and a potato pancake. The service was friendly.

A boxty is a traditional Irish potato pancake. In this restaurant, they serve them in many different ways. The boxty fries are especially tasty!

If you are looking for a good wholesome, money well spent, breakfast, look no further. The pancakes (Boxty), are lovely. They are like a giant blini. I had the poached eggs on boxty with hollandaise sauce. An Irish take on eggs benedict. The others had full breakfasts, which were good. Excellent meat products. Good coffee too.

This is a place to get a good meal and have some meals wrapped up in a potato pancake. Delicious! We even tried different Guinness drinks.

I thought I'd have a traditional irish stew, but it was very bland and the meat was tough - the soda bread which accompanied it was the best part of the meal. My friend had a very standard looking piece of salmon. The thing which rescued the meal, though, was our great server, Mike, who not only was attentive and... More

Was recommended this restaurant from the staff at the apartments we were staying at and it didn't disappoint! We had the lunch time beef and Guinness stew and the Irish lamb stew with a dude of chips and colcannon mash which were both great! Prices are reasonable for the centre of Temple Bar area and the staff were polite and... More
