Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow! Over 20 euros for 1 Guinness, 1 beer and a couple of packets of nuts. I was expecting a lap dance thrown in for that price. Got to be the most expensive drink in town! Just off the plane and first pub I walked...into. Other bars in the Temple Bar area were busy but went in here as I was a bit tired after travelling from UK and just fancied a quiet pint. Should have questioned why there was nobody in there! Just have to put it down to a learning experience and next time ask the price before they serve.More

Lively band playing and everyone was having a great time. Didn’t eat food but the meals that went by looked delicious! Will be back again!

Had dinner tonight at this pub and enjoyed every minute of it. Jamie was the best bar tender I have had in Ireland so far. I will be back to enjoy this pub again.

Best pub to me for good vibes and music. Among all pubs this one was best to me and my friend. The music was amazing and everyone were so nice and happy.

Jamie and Grace made us feel so welcome and made our visit fun! The food was yummy, the band playing downstairs was great. We went upstairs to dine where we could join the fun of the band and still enjoy conversation and food. The location...is right in the Trinity Bar area so lots to do and see! Would recommend this pub for fun and a pint!More

We stopped here for dinner one evening while in Dublin. Downstairs is hopping with music, upstairs has a great dining area. Jamie was phenomenal - providing friendly service and helpful recommendations. We enjoyed fish and chips, along with a tasty chicken curry - with additional...spice as ordered.More

Visited there on a Thursday night, live music until midnight and insane ambiance! Very crowded but it’s the vibe in a pub in Dublin! Had a great time, 100% recommand.

Jamie is the best bartender in Ireland! And I haven’t had five Guinness! Stop here and get the Baileys Cheesecake at least!

Stumbled across this pub whilst looking for the Temple Bar. The singer they had on that night playing his guitar (Max) was absolutely amazing. We couldn't leave, he was just brilliant. The atmosphere in this bar was great, the bar staff were very friendly and...chatted to us most of the night, service was great. Drinks are a bit expensive if you're ordering spirits or wine, food is good and reasonably priced. Definitely visit this pub, you won't be disappointed.More

The service was good and the guys behind the bar were very friendly! Live music and good atmosphere but the prices are extortionate! €36 for 2 single drinks with mixer and 2 shots :(

Traditional Irish pub in the Temple Bar area. We were there on a Tuesday afternoon and it was crowded and had a live singer. Quite expensive. A gin and tonic cost almost as much as a bottle back home.

I would definitely recommend. We booked some tables in advance for a group of 17 of us on a Friday night. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Even though we were sat upstairs, the atmosphere was still great and we kept popping down for...the live music to have a singalong. Great experience.More

The best live music around the temple bar area, a very fun place to be. Expensive drinks but that’s what you get in the heart of Dublin. Sit downstairs if you can for the best atmosphere
