The place is not bad but paying €8.10 for a pint of Heineken is ridiculous. You can go somewhere else in temple bar and pay way less and still have a great time. Avoid this place unless you don't mind being ripped off.

We’ve been to most of the pubs in temple bar and the Auld Dubliner by far has the best music and staff. Even after trying other places we still come back here! Great night out and great music
It's Temple Bar. Music is great and place is busy. But €7.80 for a lager before 10p.m. is beyond extortionate ......
A bar in Temple Bar area. On our visit there was live music which was good and great selection of drinks available
Nice little pub that’s slightly less busy than many along temple bar. Didn’t order food but looked and smelled lovely. Standard €6ish for a Guinness
We were a group of 12 people all couples. Had only arrived in Dublin and got everyone together. After 1 person from our party was refused the lady with red hair wouldn't serve the rest of us our drinks. I asked why as we had...2 pints before going to that bar and clearly wernt drunk. She made a scene which was totally unnecessary and she was very insulting, seemed like power of being a manager gone to her head. Customer service skills shocking, so unprofessional and very rude! If you can't deliver customer service skills then get a different job! From working in the travel industry I send alot of people to Dublin, safe to say they will not be recommended to visit here! Wouldn't waste your time or money on this bar- go to Buskers as staff are lovely and atmosphere was fab!More
Visited the pub during Tradfest so it was busy. Music upstairs was excellent which made a great atmosphere for the early evening. Bar staff were efficient and friendly. A word of warning, lots of stairs to cope with if mobility isn’t great. Will definitely return...next time we are in Dublin.More
We ate here on our first night in Dublin. We staggered to find a place for dinner after a very long flight. This seemed like a good choice. We were ushered upstairs and there was only 1 other table. We ordered, the food was meh..not...very good, not horrible, and rather over priced. The servers were all from Eastern Europe (not a problem, just an observation) and they never checked in on us, if we wanted another drink--hint hint, empty glasses for over 15 mins. We have to constantly wave our arms out to get their attention for everything. Really poor service...they were just hanging out at the bar talking. The bathroom is several steep stairs up and is kinda weird, dark and creepy. I wasnt impressed, will not recommend, keep going to Temple Bar and find a cheaper and better service pub imho. We were there on January 4, 2020.More
Excellent musician Monday Jan 6 afternoon. Great voice. Good staff. Nice vibe. Good pint. Nothing to complain about.
I have spent my NYE in this pub on temple bar and i had an awesome time! There is a great atmpsphere in here all the time, there are musicians playing and few floors! We stayed on the 1st floor as the ground floor was...simply TOO CROWDED! I had very great guinness, and cocktails and so on (as i said it was NYE)! I have to admit that the Auld Dubliner is a bit pricey, but look at the location and you will get why! I would recommend a night in here for some fun!!More
