Having read the reviews & the restaurant being close to our hotel we decided to see if we could get a table on a Friday night. We were lucky in so many ways. As mentioned the decor could do with a refresh but the food certainly detracted from it. We went for the 3 courses & a glass of Prosecco... More

Early Bird menu not to be missed. All food to a very high standard. Friendly staff with efficient but not manic service. Popular and busy, especially with the pre-theatre crowd so be sure to book in advance to be sure of a table. Talbot Street is a continuation of North Earl Street, just at the Spire in O'Connell Street. Look... More

I came here with my boyfriend, mother and mother in law. We chose the 3 courses for €30 menu, all 3 courses were divine, anyone who lives in Dublin knows €30 doesn't usually go far so we were all suitably impressed with the value for money. The service was excellent all staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go... More

This place is a gem. Reasonably priced food of an extremely high quality. The menu is creative and yet consistent. Staff are lovely. We have eaten here several times over a period of years and have never had reason to complain about anything. All in all a lovely dining experience.

Easy to miss in Talbot Street, this restaurant was an excellent choice on the last day of our short stay in Dublin. By chance we had booked for 7.00 and our choices were also on the 'early bird' menu which lasts to 7.15. So this saved some. Limited menu but tasty thefood and cosy on a cold evening. Highly recommended... More

We had an excellent meal on a very busy Friday night in 101 Talbot Street. Food and service were all excellent - we couldn't fault either. Our server was very friendly, chatty and observant. The décor is a bit tired though and it just needs a refresh. Tap water tasted stale but that's probably more to do with ancient pipework... More
