Dined in Rolys last night , restaurant was very busy , good atmosphere in the place but it's gotta be said , very expensive . A decent menu but you wouldn't be drooling over it . Ordered the bruschetta at € 11:95 and it's 1 piece of bread with salad ! Where are you going ?!? Average fodder at best... More

Had a three course lunch here a few weeks ago and it was really good. We were in the upstairs dining room and it is a beautiful room. Food and service were excellent. The crab salad starter, in particular, was delicious and the salmon and beef main courses cooked to perfection. It is an incredibly busy place so if you don't... I've eat in the downstairs Bistro many times and found the service and from to be pleasant and reasonable. This time we were should to the restaurant upstairs and there was a world of difference and not in a good way. The food was way overpriced and the service really poor and the place wasn't even packed. Took ages to... More

Our favourite restaurant in Dublin !Food was fabulous as usual.Venison was cooked to perfection... would love to see the return of the seafood platter and would prefer to have all items priced as a la catre rather than the new system of supplements, Friendly staff and a great buzz !

Decided last minute to get a table with a business colleage at Roly's on a Monday night. I was surprised at how busy it was but that made me excited about the food. The service was alright, it took them a while to get our drinks, having to ask a second time for them. Would have rated as Average but... More

Restaurant was very busy for a Thursday evening, we had no reservation therefore we were sat at the top of the stairs, not a great place for a table, as we had all the traffic of the Restaurant staff going to and from the kitchen, plus other customers using the bathroom etc, plus a little draft from the stairs. The... More

As usual the standard and quality of food and the presentation was excellent. Spicy fish cakes followed by a filet steak perfectly cooked to medium rare, it doesn't get much better. Its the consistently high standard that keeps Roly's at the top. Well done.

It's a bit loud upstairs, but very calm downstairs. The service is fast and friendly. The food is good, hot and with plenty of vegetables. Not a lot of taste, but this is Ireland, so it may not be wanted. The coffee is great, amd it's good value. Nobody hurries you at all, and it's always full! They treat my... More

I was nearby on a business trip, so ate here last night. I opted for the early bird menu, which was very tasty. Very attentive staff, good ambiance. Food was very good, I had fish cakes, which were Thai style, and were great. I had salmon with a very fresh salad do my main course, again delicious! The apricot and... More
