This place was recomended to us by someone who used to live in Dublin. And Im glad they did. This place is great wonderfull fantastic. The atmosphere is exacty what you want in a "speekeasy". The cocktails are just yummy. The service is top notch....And the food cant be beat. I dont know that I have had a better Ragu on pasta in the states. On our trip Back to Dublin we will definatley be going back to the Blind Pig.More

We had booked here for my wife's birthday, Staff was very friendly a really nice guy serving us, The cocktails were good to start, I had the Steak and meatball starter and my other half had the Chicken, meatballs were very salty but a large...enough portion, I had the Steak cooked Med-Rare... But it was overcooked when it arrived served with very average roast new potatoes and spinach and a somewhat watery gravy.. My wife's chicken was also overcooked and dry.. We're not ones for sending food back so just ate it and moved on, It's a pity because I love the vibe of the place.. I might go back for a drink but not the food..More

I would put this place in the top 5 best restaurants for me personally—it was that good. If you can find it—think hidden behind a bookcase in a basement wall—to open up to a really cool, amazing atmosphere. But you definitely need a reservation ahead—this...place is smaller and they will turn you away. I can’t Stress which was better—the cocktails, the food, the atmosphere, the staff or music. Just amazing! This is a can’t miss! My husband and I left completely thrilled—yes it’s that good. First—the cocktail menu was extensive and the descriptions were so detailed down to the expected taste. We could not decide. But warning—they were so good—and they will hit you. 😂 Dinner—I had the handmade spaghetti pasta in a yellow tomato bisque sauce with grilled shrimp, garlic and lemon zest. Amazing!!! My husband had a veal saltimbocca in a wine reduction—First time since we were kids that we were in the “clean plate club”. People were there from all ages and some locals definitely knew where to go. Like I said—if you can find it and book early enough—this place was in my top 5 of all time. Side note—the chef came to each table to greet guests and personally ask how his dishes were. Over the top great!More

My wife and I stopped in for a charcuterie board and drinks. The board came out in a reasonable amount of time, but the drinks took nearly 30 minutes. Service from everybody was unfriendly and apathetic . ed was good, but both were overpriced. Nobody...showed any friendliness or hustle at all. My wife ordered a dirty vodka martini and it was really bad. My old fashion The ambiance is an A+, but the rest was C- at best. Poke your head in if you want to see it, but take your $$ elsewhere.More

We booked here after reading good reviews and so glad we did. Finding it is a bit of an adventure in itself but just makes it more fun. Smaller than we expected - a great little cellar restaurant/bar. Super atmosphere. The cocktails are great and...quite strong but worth trying as they’re a bit different. The food was fab. Veal, steaks, pasta, lasagne all excellently cooked. Octopus very nice too. The cheese board is one of the best I’ve had. Great wine, nice coffee and liqueurs too. Staff were totally on the ball too. Not cheap but definitely worth it!More

We liked the speakeasy experience, the staff and the live music that was on that particular evening. Nice touch having water on the table, turns out you need it. The sort of place it appears says cocktails, so we ordered a couple and when they...came in quite small glasses it was unexpected considering the cost however small glasses was a godsend. Jesus christ......two atrocious drinks, repeated on us for hours. Order a bottled beer or something and savour the experience instead.More

For some reason I thought this place wouldn't be a "real" speakeasy. I was wrong. It was sufficiently difficult to find and when I did get it it was perfect. Very friendly bar tender made 2 beautiful cocktails (winter sun & French connection). He was...very knowledgeable and recommended cocktail books to us (they have their own library behind the bar for new recruits). Sadly we only had time for 1 drink before we had to leave but we will definitely be back again. A literal hidden gem.More

We visited this place at the recommendation of our family who visited last year. It wasn’t until we sent them some photos we realised we had come to a different place in error!!! What a happy mistake we made. We had a superb evening! The...cocktails were excellent. The Italian food was delicious. The service was impeccable and the overall vibe was really good. Later in the evening there was some live blues music which was a great finish to a really lovely evening. Well worth a visit!More

I would say so because it’s all about the “secret” on the location, which you only get when you book it.
