I came here to have one of their apparently delicious scones and one of their coffees that have beautiful latte art on them. Unfortunately two days in a row I was too late to eat a scone, but I was able to get one of their coffees. The service was perfect and I really enjoyed my visit here. If you want to sit down for your coffee or bite to eat, it might be difficult to find a seat as they have limited capacity. But to sum it up a lovely, independent, small coffee shop which I will come back to when I am back in Dublin!

Our first stop after our overnight flight from NYC. A latte and scone to bring on our hop on-hop off tour leaving just across the street at St. Stephen’s Green was just what we needed. On a previous trip to Dublin I had a proper breakfast here. It was equally delicious. I highly recommend a stop here for either coffee and snacks or a proper meal!

My customer experience at Beanhive was highly positive, following a menu misunderstanding caused by myself. When ordering, I did not read the menu properly, and I received a dish I could not eat. I am impressed that Beanhive offered a refund, as the mistake was mine. I had ordered a vegetarian dish, advertised on the overhead menu. Due to the long list of ingredients, I missed the fact the dish had tofu, which I do not like. And of course when the dish arrived, the tofu was all I could see! The other ingredients were underneath - and were fresh and well-presented. The manager's offer of a refund was appreciated, and has guaranteed my repeat custom.

The menu here is varied and unique. 2 of the people I was with had wraps they were big and plentiful. I like the picture drawn on hot drinks touch it just adds something different. My only criticism would be the length of time it took from ordering to actually getting food, it was a long time and whilst I appreciate cooking food from fresh there were not many people in or outside to warrant such a wait. One of our drinks was forgotten as well. I probably wouldn’t go here if I was in a rush, but it is a nice place to pop by if you’ve got time on a weekend. The cafe is also very small so don’t go expecting a seat and count yourself lucky if you do manage to get one

The restaurant is really small, only 4 small tables. I ordered a wrap and my boyfriend ordered a panini with a side of soup. The wrap came with 3 options of filling but I forgot to request which one I’d like and wasn’t asked so it came lamb in it which I didn’t enjoy and my boyfriends panini hardly had any chicken in it. I asked for Irish/ Dublin themed coffee art too and just got the attached which was nice but for €4 a coffee I was a bit disappointed. Maybe the Irish breakfast would have been a better bet when visiting here or just coffee and a cake.

Stood outside waiting to get a coffee for ten minutes as the guy behind the counter painstakingly repeatedly explained the online order process to the couple infront of me. I saw a lady serving hot food to customers with no face mask and zero social distancing. I eventually gave up and went to Butlers. Service was too slow and lack of adherence to covid 19 recommendations for the workplace put me off.

I was so excited for this restaurant from all the reviews I'd read and the fact that they had several vegetarian options on the menu. But when we got there the tiny restaurant was so crowded and busy there was nowhere to sit and no toilets (which was an issue for my elderly parents). They directed us to walk around the block and down to the mall for public toilets. We weren't sure where to go, so we ended up at the top of the mall where we had to pay for the bathroom. Turns out it didn't matter that it took us forever to get to and from the bathrooms because it took them forever fill our order. I actually started to think they forgot about us so I inquired and got stink eye from customers that told me I would need to wait- like I was being overly impatient while we stood awkwardly in front of other customers' tables for well over half an hour! When we finally got our food to go, we had to wander around until we found somewhere else to sit and eat our food. Not great. We did end up going onto Trinity's campus and eating at picnic benches set out in front of the library. By that time the food itself was soggy and not really that flavorful. You do get a lot of it, but I'd rather it was less expensive and smaller portions. I was really disappointed and would not go here again.

Visited upon the recommendation of a friend and after seeing a very promising Instagram account but we were very disappointed. Food took 35 minutes to arrive and did not arrive together which isn’t appropriate for a breakfast place and when it finally did arrive part of our order was missing and food was cold and bland with the cheese not melted properly. Staff weren’t helpful at all when we notified them of our missing coffee either which we had to ask for a second time on our departure. Will definitely not be visiting again when there are so many other amazing breakfast spots in Dublin ☹️

I can’t comment on the rest of the food, just the vegan breakfast. Unfortunately just average and I felt a bit pricey for what you got. No vegan spread, and the side dish of olive oil we asked for was vegetable oil. It was very popular so I guess the non-vegan stuff is good! Nice staff. Not many tables so be prepared to wait.

This place is incredible! Such warm and cosy vibes, and sitting outside people-watching is pleasant even in the rain. The latte art is incredible, I was wowed with every drink I had, and all for a price quite a bit lower than you’d pay elsewhere! The sandwiches are delicious (the bread itself is especially divine) and the cakes equally beautiful in looks and taste. Every single staff member was friendly and efficient, and service was very quick. It’s also in an ideal location right beside St. Stephen’s Green! Definitely not one to miss :)

We were a little sceptical when we saw how small that place was, but it turned out to be our best breakfast! The staff was very nice and welcoming. The hot drinks were very good, especially with the cold weather, with such lovely drawings on top (very Instagram worthy!). I got the vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious. It got me full for the whole day and the combination of all the different food was perfect (loved the beans and the roasted vegetables). As said earlier, Beanhive is pretty small, there are only four tables indoors and pretty much the same outside. There can be a queue, but I do think it is worth the wait. Would definitely recommend that place if you are in Dublin, it is an amazing way to start your day!

My husband and I stopped in here one morning for some breakfast before a day full of site seeing. We had two breakfast sandwiches, something we could eat on the go, my goodness were they delicious! I remember my husband saying it was one of the best vegetable sandwiches he has ever had. We aren't big coffee drinkers, so that part of the establishment was lost on us, but everything looked and smelled wonderful! There is a little seating area. The staff HUSTLES to get your order, to bring out your order, and they take good care of you while you are there. highly recommend the Beanhive for breakfast!

Both the food and the coffee were fantastic. Prices very much affordable and definitely worth for the quality. And the Chinese guy serving was amazingly friendly and helpful, he even told us about the 3 types of coffee (flavors, history etc.) from the espresso. He is a real gentleman. Important to know: only 2 or 3 tables of 2 inside and some more of 4 on the side walk outside. BUT our recommendation (if the weather allows) is to take your food/drink "to go" and enjoy it in the park less than 50 meters away: quieter, less traffic (people), fresh air and much nicer landscape to view.

Went here with my wife and 2 friends after seeing the food when walking by. The staff accommodated us by rearranging tables to fit us and personalised the coffee with Chinese characters as our friends are Chinese. the food was delicious and very well priced.

I ordered takeout and it took me an hour to get scrambled eggs and a muffin, they claimed they gave my order to the wrong person but I was standing right by them the whole time. They then gave me my order and forgot the muffin and I paid 20 bucks for this meal. I got no discount or anything.
