We had booked a table in advance for our son's birthday which happened to coincide with St.Patrick's Day, hence the booking. Brookwood is a bijou restaurant close to St.Stephen's Green and the ambience is great. The staff are welcoming and friendly and both the food and drinks reasonably priced. From where we were sat we could actually watch the food... More

This restaurant doesn't have a huge variety of food, although steak is not the only thing on the menu. However, there are some huge raw steaks on the counter which might not be very pleasant for die-hard "vegetarians-on-principle"! The starters were amazing. Somehow they had smoked the toasted brioche with my foie-gras mousse - it was out of this world.... More

Brookwood was a restaurant I had heard about yet never felt the need to visit as I'm not a big steak eater. How wrong I was! There are selections of delicious dishes and fabulous sides of all kinds. As I said, the reason we came here was to taste the fantastic, unique cocktails yet each of us ended up ordering... More

We had dinner here last week on a trip to Dublin. We arrived an hour late but luckily still were able to get a table in the downstairs room near the kitchen grill. Service was very good. We all enjoyed our food. The French onion soup was delicious as were the filet steaks and rig 'n cheese.

We made a reservation for dinner on St Patrick's Day. The Brookwood was simply, superb! Our Fillet steak was, almost certainly, the best we have ever had. The Black Sole was cooked to perfection and so beautifully accompanied with perfect baby clams and lardons. Just a perfect dinner. Thank you!

We visited Brookwood with a group of six friends on St Patrick's Day in the evening. Despite this being an extremely busy time, Anna, Gabriel and the team did everything they could to make our visit special. The food was superb throughout- I can highly recommend the mussels and chocolate bar - and the service was attentive and discrete. The... More

We were passing and needed to eat. The atmosphere is great, there are some small booths for 2 downstairs that are ideal. My steak (ribeye) was tender and cooked to perfection. The Nash was superb and the veg al dente. Perfect. My wife chose market fish (hake), her only complaint was she would have liked more sauce. Recommended.

Was here on the Monday the 13th of March with a works dinner. As myself and work colleagues all work in the restaurant industry it was nice to be a customer! The restaurant is very pleasant in its decor and was busy for a Monday night which is always a good sign! The food was very good nice ribeye cooked... More

We had a very pleasant meal, the staff were courteous and friendly and there was a lovely buzz in the restaurant. We even had the pleasure of watching a marriage proposal at the next table which was lovely :) Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
