Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is our favourite pub to visit when ever we are in Dublin. We usually opt to stay in the attached Harding Hotel so it's super convenient. Great food, great drinks and great atmosphere. Live Music is always brilliant. We dined here several times and...the food is excellent. You can tell everything is freshly prepared. A must visit place if you are in the Dublin / Temple Bar area!More

Great pub with a relaxed atmosphere and solid food! Enjoyed Fish and chips here and it was well executed. I also saw the beef stew and I almost ordered 2 entrees. The kind of comfortable pub you could spend the entire evening in, plus great...food!More

We came in here a good few times as it was joined to our hotel. The price of beer and food was very reasonable and the performers were great. We also asked for the United match to be put on and it was without hesitation....We probably spent most nights of our trip in here tbh because the staff are just so friendly and a lot of fun it seems. We’re actually sat now having our last drinks here before heading to the airport home. I would highly recommend coming here for drinks even before you head off to the temple area. Tom was just ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ He’s a lot of fun and definitely up for a laugh! I don’t know what he gets paid but pay him more! He’s the best 🤣👏🏽 Overall, so much fun and this place is highly recommended for both drinks and foodMore

Came in after seeing the positive reviews. Lots of atmosphere and very relaxed. Staff were friendly and allowed us to sit and have drinks before ordering food. Ordered the Guinness and beef stew which was slightly disappointing. Looked lovely and the gravy was very tasty....Sadly the meat was quite chewy and had not been cooked for a long time. Had better versions during our stay. Worth a visit though for the drinks and live music which is on nightly.More

Staff were absolutely delightful. Our first time in and it was pretty busy but the staff helped us find a table and were so kind about it! They were very attentive and the food was DELICIOUS!! Our first meal in Ireland and it set the...bar very high!! Live music was a blast and their prices much better than right next to temple bar. Definitely check this place out!!More

We really enjoyed our time here! We came for dinner but ended up staying a while because the live music was fantastic. Bring cash to tip the musician(s) they deserve it! The food & service were excellent. Highly recommend this pub!

Loved our experience here! Great music and pub atmosphere. Very crowded but worth the wait for a seat. Great food. And enjoyed the Rogue beer. Definitely recommend.

Great, tastey, burger and cocktails. Lovely staff with easy relaxed service. Shame we missed the music, a friend told me it's FAB. Traditional clean surroundings. Definitely worth a visit. Good prices too.

Live Irish music every night, from 1900 hrs in this 'traditional' pub. Great food, which is reasonably priced and good-sized portions. On top of all this, friendly and professional service from all of the staff. Highly recommended A++

Well this was an unexpected delight! Irish stew was to die for. Hot & plentiful. Stopped in after a cold walk from Grafton street. Friendly service & super quick. Had heard other reviews saying food took so long to get but not tonight. I asked...for recipe but alas they don’t give it awayMore

Amazing food in a friendly environment Fish and chips and Guinness Stew was tasty! We’d like so much live Irish music. Not in city center but very near every attraction. Ten minutes from temple bar So recommended.
