Went here for family lunch. Booked for 16 but there ended up being 18 of us. In spite of it being quite busy, they seated the extra 2 no problem. Service was excellent, with very friendly and accommodating servers. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the...atmosphere was very pleasant . When lunch finished, there was no rush put on our party to vacate our tables and we finished up at our own pace. All in all, a very enjoyable lunch, and I would definitely recommend it.More

I ate here with family & on my own 8 times over a 2 wk period in April while my husband was in SVUH, the food & staff were outstanding to say the least. Keith, Kieron & Paul made my time in Dublin much easier...with their kindness. I have & will highly recommend The Merrion Inn to anyone travelling to Dublin. The Beef cheek is WOW!!! & the kids are still talking about how nice the guys were to them when they came up for Easter wkend, it's the small things that these guys do daily that make establishments like this truly deserve to be have have good name. 👏 I hope the owners appreciate the good staff they have!More

Great Sunday lunch in the Merrion Inn before rugby game in the Aviva. The roast beef lunch was the best I have eaten for some time. Excellent service & pleasant surroundings. Good work Merrion Inn!

Had the blue cheese, poached pear and walnut salad, followed by the Hereford ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce and the crème brûlée. The place is very nice, the seating is comfortable, the food was delicious and the service was perfect. Cannot recommend enough! The staff...is as smiling as they are competent, efficient and organised, this is service at a very high level, matched only by the kitchen. I will most definitely come back when in Dublin. Thank you for the best dinner in a long time.More

Just had a great meal and enjoyed the 6 natons rugby. Service was excellent and the food was great. One over excited punter who was cursing loudly during the game was professionally handled by Keith. Thanks to Cliona for the great service at our table.

Best staff and management Team in Dublin. Nothing is too much trouble. On quiet days there is a great set of regulars who welcome all-comers with full hospitality and warmth. You are never alone in the Merrion Inn.

There were 7 of us. The food was very good, really nicely served. The service itself was excellent- despite the place being packed. They are extremely strict on regulations- no walking around without masks. Recommended

A very busy and clearly very popular gastropub, I had dinner there after a very long day travelling. I was greeted, and looked after during my meal, by a very welcoming and solicitous man (sorry, I didn’t catch your name but you were great) There...are clearly stringent Covid restrictions in place, which was excellent. My starter was a delicious panko coated goats cheese and salad, followed by homemade chicken goujons and chips, which was tasty and fresh but it was the staff who made the experience, I’ll definitely visit again.More

The food in Merrion Inn is not worth a visit, very greasy and no taste. Desserts are horrible. On top, it is expensive. The room is not really friendly and it is pretty cold inside. Waiter was rude and not even trying to accommodate our...wishes. I don’t recommend this place.More
