We had a fabulous time at the 1900 last night. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service is excellent with attentive staff. Lovely music playing added to the experience. The food was terrific. We had beet root salad, sea bass and filet of beef. All excellent....But the rum soaked sponge cake was the best ever! Highly recommend.More

What an exceptional dining experience! We were seated in a quiet area that has a view of the open kitchen. JP made us feel immediately welcome and provided flawless service throughout the meal. We enjoyed the craft cocktails and the most delicious dinner! Everything was...so fresh, beautifully prepared and presented. We enjoyed the Wild Mushroom Arancini and the Blue Bell Falls Goat Cheese Salad (a work of art!) to start. The Pan Roast Halibut and Sirloin and Filet Steaks (made surf & turf with added prawns) were superb! Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert was sublime and easily shared. We arrived in Dublin after nearly 24 hours of travel and 1900 was just doors down from our hotel. We settled in for some good wine and food and was not disappointed. The service was friendly and timely as well.

On arrival we were greeted by Kevin, the manager with a bit of humor and a hearty welcome . Seated and introduced to Juan Paulo waiter extraordinaire. Besides a great meal, the wife risotto and my sea bass he made our dinner more enjoyable. Nice...ambiance and reasonably priced. If we were in Dublin longer a return would be planned. You will want to return also.More

We came here for a " Night of swing" with Tom Cole Jnr and a five course meal so I must admit that I was not expecting great food! I was SO mistaken; the food, the ambience, the service and of course the music was...splendid. We were warmly greeted with glasses of bubbly and shown to our table. Service was friendly and assured. An amuse bouche of gazpacho and smoked salmon, cream cheese and dill began what was a wonderful array of flavours and excellent cooking. My starter of pasta and prawns on the lightest of lemon sauces was sublime as was my daughter's goats cheese salad, light and subtle. Our friend had arancini, also deemed delicious. Two of us had steaks, perfectly cooked on a bed of mash with the lightest of onion rings on top. Perfect chunky chips and mushrooms completed this dish. Our friend had the risotto, creamy and cheesy gorgeousness. Our assiette of desserts was perfect, tiny cheesecake, macarons and a tiny apple tart strewn with blackberries. Double espressos and petits fours completed an utterly splendid meal.More

The 1900 Restaurant set a relaxed and confident tone as soon as we stepped in the door. The space is spacious and inviting; there was lively but unobtrusive chatter, and amber bottles glowed from behind the bar. Service was extraordinarily friendly, attentive and helpful. This place is a gem! Good food, good people. Great for lunch and dinner, would highly recommend the steaks.

What a wonderful meal and service! Slightly disappointed it wasn’t very busy but we did eat early due to having a show to attend. The BEST scallops I’ve ever had, and the steak was amazing too.
