Visited restaurant on Dame street with friends. Please don't get turned off by entrance where you can see counter and menu. Yes, you can have food take away, but once you pass counter there is sitting area as well and waiters will bring menu. It's very casual dining, atmosphere is very simple. But food is a success! We have tried... More

Very good food, tasty falafel and healthy salad! I recommend mint lemonade for drink. Nice staff and cheap!

Straight forward healthy fast food for when you're feeling peckish while on the go. I often drop in here for a quick bite or the occasional delivery to soak up a nasty hangover.

I was not wholly convinced when a friend asked me if I wanted to try Umi Falafel. For once, I have to say I was wrong in being unconvinced. I ordered spring rolls which were cheesy enough and not oily. I also tried the Palestinian bread, which was very good and a side of sweet potatoes which were tasty. The... More

Had the lunch deal (every day until 17.00) with the pakistani sandwich and potatoes. Great flavours and thw falafels are delicious. Would have liked some sauce with the potatoes. The place is a bit small but w only had to wait for 5 minutes for a table. Also it gets noisy because there isn't anything to insulate the sound of... More

Couldn't have told you what the hell a falafel was this time last year if you asked but UMI has made me an avid supporter of the dish and Lebanese style cuisine in general. The food here is great, and a type of food that I had never really eaten before. Often go here for lunch as it's good value... More

This is probably my favourite place in Dublin, I go here at least once a week, generally for takeaway but often eat in as well. Their Palestinian falafel sandwich is the best thing ever, unrivalled in Dublin, and for only €5 as well!

Found this little gem and visited twice whilst on our holiday. The food is so yummy and the service is good. The tables are quite small and you may have to share with others; but I don't know if this is a Dublin thing?

Never tried this type of restaurant before but as my partner is veggie it gave her lots of options to choose from. I had the make your own falafel pocket and it was amazing and full of flavour. Will be going back before we finish our holiday.
