Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Friendly atmosphere of a traditional Irish pub, good food but hardly any lamb in the lamb stew. This seems to have been mentioned several times in other reviews. My friends got beef stew and shepherds pie both of which had significantly more meat, similar to...portion sizes we had at other restaurants. I do recommend this pub, just don't get the lamb stewMore

Dropped by for dinner. Downstairs very lively with people having a drink, head upstairs if you prefer a quieter setting. Ordered the lamb stew and chicken wings for starter. Both were very good, very tasty and perfect for a cold day. Washed it all down...with a pint of GuinnesssMore

This was a great place for Pub food. Both my wife and I had good dinners. The menu is broad and has Guten free Options.

One of the best meals we had in Dublin. It’s just off the main road so a bit hidden but I found it on TripAdvisor. The fish chowder was unbelievable, a meal in itself. Beef and Guinness stew, Irish stew all very good. Nice people...and a reasonable price.More

On our first night in Dublin we went here for some traditional Irish food and a few pints. Brannigans did not disappoint. We had a very enjoyable meal of steak and Guinness casserole and prime rib platter, accompanied by the perfect pint of Guinness.

My favourite city centre spot in Dublin. Faultless food, excellent guineas and convivial staff who provide top class service and a bit of banter.

Absolutely great place! The food and drinks are amazing and the prices are good (for Dublin). They have good choices for vegetarian food. Staff are friendly and super helpful. They are wheelchair accessible, which made our short trip easier
