We had an early lunch before a walking tour of the Temple Bar area. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was excellent.

The Beef and Guiness Irish stew was the best we had in Dublin! Great atmosphere. Our first meal in Dublin and set a high bar for the rest of the trip!

Got recommended this place by one of my Irish friends and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed a lovely meal with pudding and then had a very relaxed evening drinking and enjoying the incredible live music. Very comfortable and enjoyable Friday night which was our ideal final night in Dublin :) a must see for a great Irish pub experience... More

On the outside looks like a nice pub but as soon as your inside there are grumpy people staring at you and the music makes you drowsy and depressed. You get the menu and its okay. But it takes them forever to get your order. Three people walking around but none could be bothered to get our ordet till we... More

It was my first visiting Ireland this may, and while staying in Dublin I really wanted to experience a local's pub. I actually stumbled onto O'Donoghue's on Suffolk street and knew I had found my pub! Everything was exceptional from the food, to the service, and the prices, It is everything you want and more. Next I'm in Dublin this... More

In Dublin as the last leg of a vacation, a group of us set out to find some traditional music and maybe a pint (or two). Our tour guide recommended O'Donoghue's and he was very right. The music was great the atmosphere cozy (it is a tiny place) and the crowd was friendly and entertaining. A great time.

I like to recommend O'Donoghue's to tourists because it looks like a traditional pub and it has really good music. I had an American friend visiting at the beginning of May and she wanted to hear music so we headed there. Nice music and even somewhere to sit down, but my encounter with the barman was extremely disappointing. The poor... More

If you want to experience a true Irish bar that won't over charge for a beer, this is the place. Locals seem to know that this is the best bar in the area and it has a real Irish feel. Everyone was friendly and talkative. If you are shy and want a quiet, relaxing choice, this is not it. The... More

Stopped by for a quick pint while shopping and ran into some wonderful locals and good food at reasonable prices. Pub was spread out over three levels with tables on two and the toilets below. We sat at the bar by a nice series of taps and looked at the somewhat limited menu. Had a bacon cheeseburger because the stew... More
