Food was great, service was a bit slow because it was Saturday night but still good! Price was ok (18€ p.o) and generally speaking it was a nice experience. I would come back!
Banyi came as an absolute surprise to us as we walked around Temple bar in Dublin and were looking for a cozy place to eat. Where to start? Very friendly staff taking care of our stroller, giving us a nice table. The food is amazing,...fresh, authentic, reasonably priced for a very high quality. They are very quick, not obtrusive but attentive at any time. What else do you wish? We were lucky to be there when two Japanese musicians have had eaten as well and have the whole restaurant a mini concert. It was just amazing. So if you are ever hungry and like Asian food -> that’s your best place to hit in central Dublin!More
Amazing ramen and gyoza, lovely atmosphere. Great for lovers of Japanese cuisine. Would whoehartidly recomend going here 11/10
We love sushi, but we were hesitant due to the lack of street presence. Soooo glad we went!! Fantastic and authentic sushi, so gin is, upselling etc, just great food and great service! We went for the Banyi platter between us, and a wee bit...of kimchi for me as I’m a super fan! Amazing food. The quality of the fish was top class. Seriously, if you want sushi and you’re in Dublin, you can’t go wrong. Tell them I sent you, they’ll not have a clue what you’re on about, but it’ll make me smile thinking I’ve confused someone 😂 Go, eat, enjoyMore
Fair Japanese food in the busy Temple Bar zone. This calm restaurant definitely contrasts the loud and busy area that is the rest of Temple Bar. The food was quite nice, but nothing so memorable. However it did seem at times that the staff were...watching us. If you happen to be in the area and like Japanese food and want a quiet environment, maybe this is for you.More
Not a bad place: the food was good and I think the price was fair. The only downside was that the atmosphere was quite odd: felt stared at by some staff members….attentive is good but this was a little too much
What a great little spot right in the heart of Dublin. Service was excellent and the food was just as great. Good value too! I got a bento box, side and soft drink for €28. I was amazed when the food arrived. It's not often...you get a 'wow' nowadays and this place did just that. Would definitely recommend!More
I went there with my boyfriend and we loved the place and the food was amazing. We are fond of Japanese food and this restaurant fitted our expectations. The team is very nice and they listened to my request when I reserved the table. Recommend!
Everything we ordered was freshly prepared and authentic unlike some well known chain restaurants. Very attentive service and a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
We visited this restaurant in January 2023. It seems it is known restaurant in Dublin,so I would recommend to book table in advance. Sushi and drinks were really tasty. Very good experience:)
Easily our favourite meal we had on our trip to Dublin. Two sushi addicts were very satisfied! Great service, wonderful food, and a lovely selection to choose from. We will definitely be returning when we visit the city again! Recommend the Banyi platter, it’s divine!
Great food with reasonable prices. Texture, taste and serving size just perfect. Rice cooked in a right way. Great experience, would definitely recommend.
Four of us ate early evening , luckily we pre booked , lovely helpful staff and even better food !! Tempora prawns light & crispy and the surf and turf Bento box really delicious. Definitely recommend
Relaxed atmosphere, good sushi and very fresh fish, quite a surprise right in the midst of the touristy part of town. I would happily go back. Thank you to the kind and friendly people who run and work in the restaurant.
