Absolutely fantastic little spot with delicious, perfectly presented authentic Japanese cuisine. The service is top notch too - staff couldn’t be better. Love love love this place
The food here was excellent, and service was outstanding. All the ladies were extremely friendly and I had a very relaxed meal of lovely, fresh sushi.
A lovely Japanese Restaurant in the heart of Terenure Village Had a superb lunch here with my son. Very friendly greeting from the hostess made us feel comfortable straight away Great menu choices, we had lovely Miso soup and prawn tempura for starters and Sushi...for mains My spider sushi roll was delicious Our server was very efficient and friendly Great experience and good value. We will be back 🍣🍜More
Was here a few months ago and really enjoyed their food. Had the Katsu chicken curry and it was very tasty. Also had their agedashi tofu to start, which was also lovely. The staff were also very helpful and kind. Would reccommend this place.
Ordered a few noodle dishes with duck and some sushi. Food was terrible. Literally some noodles with a few bits of duck thrown on top. Sushi was only slightly better. Worst food I’ve had for a long time.
We made a midweek visit in July with an advance reservation - though we probably didn't need one, as the restaurant was very quiet (Covid 19 still discouraging many people from eating out). Maybe that's why the early bird menu was still available after 8pm...- but no matter. We took full advantage of it. The service was quick and polite, and the food was very tasty and good quality. A limited menu of beer and wine was available and also at not-outrageous prices (compared to many Dublin restaurants). A pleasant evening and will go backMore
Tani is so delicious that I couldn't wait to eat it when I received it. I am so happy to have such delicious sushi at this special time by ordering takeout
Nicest lunch I’ve ever had. We ordered the seafood bento box, chicken teriyaki bento box and salmon sushi. Fresh, quick and giant portions. I would recommend to anyone, the staff were extremely nice and polite too! 10/10
Appalling service over the phone, the first person who answered my call was unable to take my order as they didn’t appear to understand English well. Eventually someone came on the phone who understood English. I made the usual order I make with them and...they refused to accommodate a very minor request as my son can not eat one of the nigiri types on a combination order. Zero respect for kids requests, zero respect for repeat customers who have spent hundreds of euros with this restaurant. Very very disappointingMore
Had dinner here with my wife duck chahan & beef teriyaki all excellent. Nice staff. Told Coffee machine not working suspect they washed it early!
Recently ate here with a companion. Sushi in ireland can be notoriously expensive which is annoying and slightly depressing when you visit other countries! However tani has a reasonable option or two. Firstly the wine although not great is relatively ok priced. At the end...of the day you are getting below average wine at a below average price unsure why restaurants in ireland do this but anyways I didn't go for the wine. The sushi the bit I did go for! Well I'll start with the starters... we got pork dumplings which were very nice and we got calamari which was not nice. Pork dumplings were full of flavour and tasted great however the calamari was too thin and way over cooked in a not very nice batter. The sushi... finally.... so we shared the big 36 euro sushi bowl. Which has 36 pieces in it which is plenty for two. The sushi is very good quality and seems fresh! The rice was perfecto and yea cant complainMore
Had a family dinner here good food pleasant staff. Restaurant a little small. Variety of dishes curry was very good . Allfam
I have eaten here many times and never disapointed. I usually eat in for lunch (bento box special is recommended) and take out for dinner.
I suppose I've been reluctant to try Japanese food because I don't like the idea of raw fish but you don't have to eat sushi if you go to a Japanese restaurant!! Actually it was really very nice in the one in Terenure and the...strangest thing I had was a seaweed salad (which wasn't strange at all). All good food and pleasant surroundings. We'll definitely be back.More
