TERRIBLE!!!! I am tellling you right now do not go here. Much nicer places like The Bell blanch or Mullingar house. Disgusting. My auntie was not served her food at all! Because she has a condition and can’t eat big portions she asked for a...kids meal and wasn’t served at all. They got my whole order wrong. Stupid people! Senior waitress DOG IGNOARNT! I say we start a pension to shut this TERRIBLE DISGUSTING PLACE DOWN!More
Terrible service, very rude staff , high prices wont be visting again.. senior waitress and manager were extremely ignorant !! Stay clear
Absoutly appealing service from management due to ordering a small portion meal out with family 6 adults and 4 kids. Explained about medical issue due to stomach problems and not been able to eat much as I've a condition however they agreed to give it...as a kids meal but never sent it over. Due to management having an issue but they did agree 5 staff member hovered as measl had been sent over except one meal. When asked staff went yo get it and never came back. On numerous occasions other staff approached to ask did I want to pay full price adult meal for a childs. Family was constantly interrupted what was supposed to be a nice sunday dinner of union turned out to be a catastrophe. I did say it's ok I dont want a meal and they continued to approach counting meal. Its hummilatiolng and embarrising. I would have had no issue paying for an adults meal if it had of be handled with hospitality and kindness. However it wasnt meant to be. I would never eat there again also irs way over priced and they could not split the bill between two separate familys that was an erron on there behalf. Found them to be quite rude and ignorant.More
my family have drinking there over 35years. and I brought 9 members of my family for dinner I sent mine back the chef let's anything out of the kitchen. he can't cook Asian food. 7 of of my family were sick that evening and the...next day. needles to say we won't be eating there again. we're all having staffing problems but that meal was a joke. must do better.More
Went here for my leaving drinks before moving away and can safety say we had a great night. There was music on and the staff were extremely nice and helpful - cannot fault them. I have been a regular here for a year before leaving...and I can safely say that it is a great spot. The bar staff are a main point - everyone I have dealt with over the years has been extremely nice and funny. The Tikka Masala and the Chicken Burger were my main go too's but I have on good authority from friends that the full dinner is equally lovely.More
The customer service we received by the manager was appalling. His behaviour and attitude was so bad that I simply can never return again, I would advise you do the same.
Dropped in for an afternoon drink and ordered 2 glasses of house red wine. It was produced from a pump so it is bulk stored. I was shocked when I was charged €15.20 especially as it's a local pub and from a vat. Will not...be back.More
Went down for a meal with the family including 3 kids. It was extremely busy but staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was lovely as usual and dessert always goes down a treat.
Fine roast beef, and good crunchy carrot etc, but, roast mini potato soggy and dreadful, bit scrimpy on gravy which was also a bit watery. Meal was so, so
First visit in months.. Sorry I went menu as poor as ever. The place needs a complete make over Carper from stairs to bar are black with dirt food was very pool had fish was nice but batter cookedi n well use oil is always...busy but I think its the only restaurant in the area so if you want something to eat or drink you have no choise but will get bus or taxi next time I want to eat outMore
Really poor food, chicken Caesar was tossed together with store bought dressing, pre cooked and re heated chicken with no flavour at all despite being advertised as Cajun. Chicken burger was worse, literally a frozen chicken burger thrown together. Not suprised please was empty on...a Sunday afternoon. Also, place was not clean in any way shape or form!More
Went there last night for a bite to eat on way back to hotel. Prices in Dublin city centre were exorbitant and hotel has a lot of kids so just wanted pub grub type food. This was perfect. Servers were young girls by so helpful...and friendly, older clientele lots of older couples having a bite to eat, got nachos and wings and was perfect. Also v reasonable. If youbwant an older more authentic setting thus is itMore
