Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Popped in for a breakfast before a busy day after reading good reviews. I wasn’t disappointed, the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time and great value! The chef and waitress were very nice and had great chats. Card machine was down but no...issue I dropped cash back later on with no fuss from the guys. Could recommend them enough! Next time you’re at the bulman I’ll buy ye a pint guys!More

Simply the best! We walked in at 6am and was greated by the owner/ chef. He was hilarious and can cook up the best breakfast mixed with the best line up of swear words I've ever heard! It's breakfast and comedy all in one! We...will be going back every morning this week!More

It’s like a scene out of father ted, expletives flying around everywhere, you get abuse in a pure banter way, just a great comedy experience topped off by the best breakfast I can remember having, mint place, would give it 6 stars if I could.

I cannot recommend this fantastic little breakfast cafe enough. The food was absolutely gorgeous. The cafe was very busy (I'm not surprised as it's amazing) but we were seated asap and looked after which was greatly appreciated. The owner and the staff were hilarious and...helped us plan our day in Dublin. This is possibly one of the best cafes I have ever been to and will 100% be returning if visiting Dublin again.More

The owner made horrible homosexual remarks as we walked through the door. Refused to remove one of the items from the breakfast as we didn’t want it. Then followed us out the door. Avoid the place, waiter was a difficult lad. Refused to understand the...simplest of requests.More

Gorgeous little place & the Irish breakfast was to die for (can’t recommend enough) with the added bonus of our waiter, Sean. He was friendly, attentive & absolutely hilarious. Food was delicious but Sean definitely made our morning. Will be back in December.

This is a must visit for the quintessential Irish Breakfast. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. The workers are hysterical and give great service. My husband and I visit here at least once every time we come to Dublin.

Upon entering was told that I could sit ethier at a tiny table next to the door or have one of two stools at the bar..stool number one..not attached & wobbly, nearly fell. Ordered the Full Irish..coffee is extra. Was not asked even once "hows...everything?". Truth is, the breakfast itself was nice. Coffee had an odd taste though. Looked up from my breakfast to see a wooden sculpture of a penis & testicles.. not what one would expect having breakfast! Looking around I noticed another three bits of penis inspired "art". Staff are very young..crap dance music playing at 11-30am. Although tiny, this place has so much potential..but I think they need to grow up a bit. I'm sure seniors and families come here..does the owner really think its appropriate to have that type of art in your face? Change your music to something everyone can listen to, not just 20 yr old hipsters. Get rid of the phallic art. If that were done, I would have given it 4/5. Time to grow up a little.More

My only regret was that I didn't get the young man's name so that I could give him a shout out here. The best way to start your 60th birthday is at the Stage Doors Café with an Irish breakfast. You only turn 60 once...so do it right. This intimate little spot was just what the doctor ordered. We sat just inside the doorway at a table that held exactly what we needed; two cups of coffee and two large plates of food. The food was beyond amazing. It was one of the best meals we had in Ireland. The service was top shelf. This young man hustled around and was polite and inviting to everyone. I tried to purchase a small container of white pepper and he said it would be my first birthday gift. Then he gave us a shot of whisky and said it was my second birthday gift. I want to know what type of whisky it was because it was perfect. I want the young man to know that he and his crew gave me the perfect start to year 60. Only an eejit would skip this place.More
