Had an excellent steak on the stone here last night. Service was topnotch too. Only thing that let's this place down is the very strong smell of urine coming from the men's toilets downstairs. U only get it downstairs so it doesn't really effect the...experience upstairs but thought you should know.More

On a Wednesday evening, 8th of December 2020, me and my friends booked a table for 4 people, having in mind to order the mid-week deal. The manager was very rude, and stated that the deal was not available during the Christmas period. I asked...if he can define the period of time when is the deal available, because I thought is kind of false advertising when on the website and meniu was still available. He got vrey angry and kicked us out, regardless that we book the table a few day prior to this event. I asked him what is the reason for kicking us out and he stated that :"we are very busy" and "we don't serve people who make social media threats". I was very disappointed of his reaction, we left the place without having our dinner. The manager was in his mid 40s, he didn't want to tell us his name. He kicked us out like we were animals. Because we came from different place's around the world, I don't think that's fair to treat anyone like that especially in this type of industry. I work for more than 5 years as a waiter/food and beverage assistant and I never in my life treated people like than. Hope karma will do the same things as he did for us. Very dissatisfied and disappointedMore

The cafe does have ventilation issue. Smell from kitchen seem to linger over the whole place. Food was nice.

We had to come back to this place a second time over our weekend in dublin because it was such a lovely spot. Bar staff extremely kind attentive and fast . Always so polite with us nothing was too much trouble . We both got...a steak deal that cost 25 euro and comes with three pints of choice I thought this was extremely good value for money and also tasted delicious. Will definitely be returning and recommending to people . All round lovely place .More

The food and service here was brilliant! Steak and the stone one of the best I’ve had. Nothing was too much for our waitress Paula. She went above and beyond! Will definitely be returning!

Yet another great evening in 'The Lotts' food was exceptional. Service, especially Paula, was welcoming and throughly professional. Everything spotlessly clean and well done. We look forward to our next visit.

Our first meal out after lockdown, a little apprehensive going out again but we were made feel completely at ease, the social distancing was very visible and we had another lovely meal in comfort, the service from Paula was excellent as always and the food...was delicious and they always cater for me as a ceoliac. The cocktails went down a treat too.More
