Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sardinian food! Fantastic. … all home made pastas … the decor was so unassuming. Sardinian raviolis, classic bolognese pasta closed splitting a chocolate soufflé. Wow if you are in the vicinity you need to check this place out.

Friendly Italian restaurant with excellent food! We split a Sud pizza and each got a side of green beans. Both were excellent and the service was warm and gracious!

The food and dining experience were both excellent! Wonderful Italian wine list by the bottle and by the glass. The charcuterie board was so big I thought they made a mistake with our order. And they slice the prosciutto and meats in front of us...right before they serve it. I can't say rave enough about Wallace Asti! And the prices were very reasonable. By far it was the best food we had during our vacation in Dublin.More

Limited menu ! Pizza and pasta were just ok, nothing exceptional based on the earlier reviews seen on TripAdvisor! They couldn’t make a veg risotto off the menu I wanted, which was strange considering the kitchen was open. Tiramisu was served in a paper cup...- bizarre !More

Wow. That is how I will start this review. The food was exceptional. The service outstanding. The ambiance amazing. Overall a great spot to din. We shared a pizza and salad and it was delicious. As I am a pizza connoiseur, I must say it...was one of the best I have ever had. We will be back if we find ourselves in Dublin once again. Thank you all.More

We absolutely had a fantastic meal, great service and lovely ambience. We loved the fact when we ordered the lamb we were told it was only cooked pink, this showed us the chef will not send out food they consider incorrectly cooked and take pride...in their work. The lamb was to die for and we had a tiramisu for dessert, which for the first time in eating one at an Italian Restaurant was not heavy and overly creamy. The place was packed both for table service & takeaway service, so this is as it deserves to be a very busy venue. One tiny negative point about our experience there, is people like to be made feel special no matter who they are, and sitting beside us was a guy from TV and after his meal at time to pay he was offered complimentary limoncello for the table. We were on our honeymoon and had travelled to eat here, we told our server at the end of the meal when we requested our bill that we would like to keep the receipt as a memento of one of our honeymoon meals, as it was a wonderful dinner & good memory, and the server gave the receipt to us after taking the payment due as well as a good tip, which we gave for fantastic servce. Not a mention of a complimentary limoncello or even a congratulations was forthcoming though & we left with a bad memory at the end of our meal. We will if we are back in Dublin eat here again, it is a great restaurant and we highly recommend it for a wonderful authentic Italian meal. Grazie mille.More

This place was just down the street from our hotel and was open for our early dinner needs. It became obvious that this was going to be good because of all the Italian banter being spoken behind the counters. plenty of Italian options on the...wine list, including different volume options for several varieties. after sorting out the Vino we discovered the menu was geared towards Sardinian cuisine. Classics were available on the starters list and we opted for the burrata. served with crostini and a lovely tomato sauce. we opted for individual pizzas over pasta or risotto. pizzas come as either Neapolitan Style or something new to us, the black pinza. we chose one of each. I went with the Deep Purple and the wife chose the tartufatto. both were delish and big enough to bring some home. a limoncello paired with espresso finished off a very good meal. this is the second time we discovered outstanding Italian food outside of Italy....highly recommended. It should be noted that, after I wrote this review following dinner the first night, we went back there for a second dinner trying out a shared pasta dish. this was also quite outstanding. if you're in the area for dinner you can't go wrong with this place.More

Lovely Italian restaurant with good selection of pizza, pasta and mains. Excellent chewy pizza crust on a calzone. Lots of italian wine selections. They were pretty busy on a Friday night so make a reservation. They have a heated patio which was ok with a...jacket on. Walking distance (2min) from Croke Park hotel.More
