Love this restaurant and the food is excellent. A little expensive some say and I would agree. But if u are with that special lady and u want to impress her, this is the place to go.

Lovely atmosphere excellent service and fabulous food. Always a good place to try some food you have not tried before. We have visited Wongs now for about 10 years and the service is second to none. It is expensive for a Chinese but well worth it for that special evening out either as a couple or group.

Wongs has to be the best chinese restuarant in Dublin and for every family occasion, we always think WONGS and are very good customers. There have excellent value in that you can get a 3 course meal there for less than 20.00 BUT they always take their special prices off the menu on occasion days like father's Day, Mother's day,... Have eaten in this restaurant a few times, but this latest visit was by far the best. From the moment we entered the restaurant until it was time to bid farewell, the experience was just superb. We were greeted very warmly by the hostess Annie Chan, who also was our fabulous waitress for the night. We were a family of 5 and shared the duck for... Tonight we ordered a number of items for collection (3 in total). On returning home we discovered that one of the ordered items was missing (although the order had been taken by the "manager"). On ringing the restaurant we were told that we would have to travel back to collect the omitted item ourselves and pay for it (at a... More

Went to wongs on Sunday at 4 place was nearly empty, cold and no atmosphere. Service was pretty bad. Server was very abrupt like a strict school teacher. Food was pretty crap. Like a bad take away no flavour in curry. My Shanghai spicy hot pot was a thick sugary slop. Fried rice was nice. Three small prawns for starter... More

Our first table though well away from the door was caught in a very cold breeze every time it opened. We were moved pleasantly at our request. The food was more than plentiful on the set meal for four with a wide range of dishes. Enjoyable but nothing to write home about. The decor is dark wood with low lights... More

this is for the Clontarf road Wongs. -rather dark inside with black painted wood work. very attentive friendly staff - maybe too attentive as plates cleared too promptly. poor deep fried vegetable spring rolls - dripping in oil . but that apart the main courses were very good. warm plates and very good sizzling chicken dishes delivered to the table.... I don't know how to describe how exquisite the food was. Here in England (where Air Force Officer Hubby is staioned) you find a gazillion Thai resteraunts "massquerading" as Chinese resteraunts. Seeing as how I've yet to find one that has Chinese people in the kitchen, I doubt English people even know what Authentic REAL Chinese cooking tastes like! In... More
