Thank you so much for the great review!
Cagliostro despite the other fake cafes like the enoteca delle panche offers the real and authentic Italian cappuccino you expected from an Italian coffe...made by experienced caffettori from sardinia this place offers also tasteful crossaints... As my friend G. Used to say when he visited...this place... Cagliostro's cappuccino is like fregna .. You never get tired of itMore
This little gem is tucked into an alleyway off the main drags. It is staffed with Italian natives and most of the customers are speaking Italian to each other. It is the best spritz I've ever had outside of a couple of places in Florence....They even have an alternative to Campari and Aperol called Select. It's my new favorite:) It's very small, but I've always been able to find a table. They make all of their own pastries. The tables look out onto a busy walkway so great for people watching. It was my favorite hangout while visitng Dublin. Yay!More
I must have passed by Caffe Cagliostro every day since it opened (whenever that was) and I never went in. Well today I decided I would grab a coffee here and I was disappointed - disappointed that I hadn't been in here until now!! Ordered...a latte from a friendly courteous Italian (I think!) lady, whose delightful manner would out even the most downtrodden in a good mood with her energy and friendliness. The coffee was delicious. The big shock for me however was the price of the coffee - cheaper than anywhere else I have ever bought a coffee in the city, which is surprising because of the prime location of the cafe. In any event, great to get value for money and I will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone. Well done Caffe Cagliostro - and the wonderful lady at the front desk!! Your positivity is infectious.More
I've been heading into the Temple Bar area early on Saturday's for a few months now and ended up going to the usual chain coffee places for something before a class. One morning an Italian at my class mentioned a Caffe Cagliostro as somewhere making...the best coffee and pastries so I decided to try and find it the following week. It was perfect! Small little cafe, perfect sized regular cappucino (NOT a bucket!) and tastes good and delicious pastries!!! I asked for a recommendation as the big basket of pastries was full of flavours and the pistachio croissant was suggested. O...M...G...it was divine! It's now where I stop off for my coffee and pastry before class :) I've never been to Italy but walking through the door of that cafe makes it feel like you have walked into a piece of Italy. The staff and, each time I've been there, most of the clientele are Italian and it just feels lovely.More
Went in here recently with my daughter for coffee and you could be forgiven for thinking you had stepped into a bar in Italy! Italian waiters, Italian coffee and cakes etc. My daughter speaks Italian after living in Rome for 6 years so was delighted...to be able to converse in Italian with the friendly staff. Coffee was good and the staff nice and friendly.More
On a sunny day, you'd be forgiven for thinking you're in Imperia Local Italians sit and chat while enjoying real coffee in a very Italian casual cafe. The aperol spritz goes down a treat too
Been there more than once as I work near by millenium walkway, even if I work in a restaurant I always stop for a coffee and a treat here in cagliostro! Their pastry chef knows what is doing for sure!
My only complaint is that the milk was far to hot and over heated in my opion it was rushed and not even taken care off
One of the best coffees I had!!! I came across this nice coffee place while looking for the Dublin's Last Supper which is right next to this place. So I had a good coffee, on a sunny day, next to the last Dublin supper :)
If you like Italian coffee, dolci, aperitivo this is a place to go in Dublin. If you are lucky and the weather allows it, you might even enjoy the coffee on their terrace.
It was a beautiful and really sunny day in Dublin. I just wanted to find a spot outside to sit and enjoy the day with a genuine Italian espresso. I found it here. A small, hidden square (maybe like orto in Venice). Yes, great Italian...music as well. Bravi!More
This is an Italian coffee shop where you can have a real Italian Coffee, Pastry are also nice, i have normally the coffee outside, inside is small but very cosy
I went to this Cafe every morning for a few weeks while in Dublin and the staff was extremely friendly. So much so, that after a few days when the barista recognized he had seen me in a few days in a row asked me...if I liked a specific pastry. He then ordered it for me! THAT is customer service! I would recommend highly recommend this place.More
I decided to book a table in Cagliostro for my birthday as I had been there numerous times and was never disappointed although this time we were roughly 20 I did not think it would have been an issues. While the food was good (...not excellent as a few people pointed out ) service was terrible; everyone except the restaurant manager was very rude and slow although the inside area was not full at asll . Had to ask for a drink 3 times and wasn't even offered bread with my platter. One of my friends asked for a glass of Malbec I don't think I'll will be back anytime soonMore
