We got to this very crowded pub about 8:00pm and ordered our drinks and food. The beer did not come for over 30 minutes until someone, not our waitress, noticed that we had been sitting without drinks for a long time. We did not get our food until 9:30. The waitress had forgotten to place the order but the same... More

Sorry only drank here while in Dublin following the Welsh football team so can't comment on the food. However for atmosphere, quality of drinks and price given Dublin (Guinness €5 a pint) this place is brilliant. Live Irish music from 21:30 everyone friendly. Food being served looked good but as I said didn't taste so can't comment. If food is... More

My fiancée and I took in the true Irish experience for St. Patrick's Day in Dublin. We visited many of the famous pubs (including Temple Bar and the Norseman) but the atmosphere, price and authenticity of the Celt was by far the best Dublin had to offer! Whether is be the stories from the locals or belting out a great... More

Good food, good drink and good music. What more can you really ask for? The staff were all friendly and the pints were about 5 euro which seems to be around average for the area. The atmosphere was amazing!

We had a fabulous evening at The Celt. We asked to reserve a table in the bar area for 7pm and arrived to find it ready & waiting. We ordered food which was good (Irish Stew) and stayed for several more hours enjoying the live music and ambience. This place offers a great atmosphere & a good pint.

Great place and great time...Food and people watching have helped with my writer's block. Have enjoyed the staff and drinks galore. And the best part is the guesthouse is within walking distance.

We were staying at the Dublin Central Inn which is a few minutes walk to the pub. We didn't go here until the last night we were in town, but we wished we would have gone there every night! Great fun with the locals and it was over St. Patrick's Day and the Ireland rugby team had just beat the... More

Going here is a must! Every night they have live music and the drinks are reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I are backpackers with a budget and came to the celt on numerous occasions.
