I have been coming to this bar/restaurant for years now and the food never disappoints, Great selection on the menu and the food is beautiful , real home cooked dinners . We have a 10months old baby’s bed have been bringing here here often since...she was born and it’s never too noisy, very family friendly . But what really makes the difference on every visit are the staff! They are so friendly , so welcoming and just so down to earth ! All the staff are amazingg but special shout out to Natalia who is just so lovely and always so helpful, she is a credit to the place :)More

First place we stopped off at when we reached Dublin due to good reviews and easy to reach location. Food was great and waiting staff were attentive, didn’t have to wait long so they must have the food pre prepared which seems sensible to me....We had Irish stew but everything I saw brought out looked great. Football was on small screens so you could keep an eye on it but not have it take over the atmosphere.More

I’ve always liked Grand Central, especially for pub grub, and with the World Cup on, I remembered that it was in previous tournaments a good spot to watch a match during lunch. Unfortunately, standards have fallen in so many respects, this is no longer the...case. The TV picture was abysmal, like something from the 1980s with that old “snow” interference non-stop. The menu looked good (albeit I think they’ve dropped their all-day breakfast). I ordered a toasted ham sandwich and fries. I watched the game through the snow, and waited… and waited,,, It took over 30 minutes to arrive, and when it did it was chicken, not ham. I hadn’t the time at this point so ate a fairly basic, bland sandwich and chips. It’s a real shame, because it us3d to be so reliable. Time to find another lunch spot for football.More

Beautiful and very cozy place at the heart of Dublin, perfect for chilling after a walk in the city centre. Our special thanks to Natalia, who is very kind and smiley all the time. Staff really makes the difference here!

Had lunch with my son and daughter yesterday the 22nd of Aug, staff very friendly and our meals were all lovely. We had sat in the back area close to the kitchen were a manager or possibly the owner approached kitchen staff to complain about...the way they sent out a particular meal, and while i know they want food sent out properly the way he spoke to the staff member was an absolute disgrace it was very embarrassing for us and the staff, so maybe he should check himself first, his professionalism needs working onMore

Went in for lunch (3people ) we were handed 1menu between us , had to ask for another menu , we ordered 2scampi and one stew , the scampi came out with a salad that was a handful of dry leaves , the stew was...a plate of slop . We had drinks with the meal Guinness was very poor to say the least . We ordered desert which took nearly 15 mins to arrive . The whole place smelled of damp . Definitely not what I expected of a city centre pub .More

As the title says, myself and my girlfriend tried to go in for lunch but as they seen that one of us was wearing tracksuit bottoms they said they could not serve us. This is a very outdated view as tracksuit wear is very common...and normal for all ages and class etc.More

Lively bar with very friendly staff and fantastic grand design, a limited midweek menu left me with a simple choice The Bruxelles Chowder. Rich and creamy with plenty of seafood served with a tasty Guinness soda bread.

I had the spelt risotto with chicken and my husband had a special sausage combos. I can honestly say it was awful. The place was nice and the atmosphere upbeat. Drinks good but the food wasn’t hot and sausage also cool. The people were very...nice but a 2 rating is being generous.More

Had the Brie wedges and a side of chips. 14e all in, the brie was good, and a large portion for a starter. The chips were cold. Very nice and efficient serving staff though. And the place itself is nice.

My friends and I ate here on the first days of this month. Due to COVID restrictions, we had to provide the staff with either vaccination certificate or a negative PCR. The staff was really kind since we entered the restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely....They have vegetarian options. The one I tried (Crisp Vegetable Katsu Curry) was marvellous. The food arrived really quick, and the staff was always around, kindly asking if we needed anything and if everything was alright. We were five and we spent around 25€ per person, most of us had Guinness pints and this price also included some shared desserts. I think the price matches the quality of the dishes. I would definitely come back if I head back to Dublin.More

Conan deserves all the credit here. He’s the gaffer and I come in sat at the bar to watch the football and watched him lead a talented team to serve up the best customer service you could ask for. Amazing work ethic, commitment, Communication skills...on point leads me to believer he’s the best pub hospitality manager in Dublin. An absolute privilege to come here. What an amazing experience!More
