We popped in on a rainy afternoon in Dublin (yes, it rains there...) and, on the advice of a friend, settled in to try a few of the Porterhouse beers. A friend of ours loves the porter more than Guinness so we figured it was...More

My group had dinner here during a recent trip to Dublin. The beer selection definitely did not disappoint. One thing to mention is that you won't find Guinness here, so if you aren't willing to try some different (and quite good) microbrews and assorted bottles,...More

Nice central location and loved the atmosphere. Comfortable, dark, cozy. We had all the traditional Irish foods and they were tasty. Had their own craft beers and no complaints. Good service and decent price. Would recommend and go again.

This is a wonderful pub a short walk from Trinity College. We saw a story about it by Bobby Flay on the food channel. This pub has its own microbrewed beers and they are all wonderful. We went back twice to try several of them....More

Barn like. Loud and lacking in atmosphere. Poor food and hit-and-miss service. For the high price, you'll eat better in pretty much any establishment around there. Good beer selection though.

This bar took it's beer seriously stocking an impressive list of international choices in addition to their own formidable house brewed beers. Their plain porter, which put them on the map and won their first brewing awards, was the best stout I had in Ireland...More

I always have a good time here, the food is very reasonable and quite nice, beer selection is amazing, and the staff are always good for a laugh. Try the Oyster Stout, I highly recommend it.

The Porterhouse is a regular haunt when I visit Dublin. The brew their own beers and their Porter is prize winning for a good reason. I was there today for lunch and sampled 3 of their Porters while having their "Roast of the day in...More
