Last visit was July 2020 due to restrictions but miss the place so much. Me an the girlfriend, sometimes friends too come here regularly, food is always outstanding.
I would highly recommend the himalayan lamb or buttered chicken.
I don’t know why I have given this place so many chances but once again, everything in our order was wrong. My son ended up up with no dinner at all and the restaurant wouldn’t answer their phone! On top of that they state 30...minutes pick up time when our order took almost 1 hour 30 minutes!!! The food was also cold! They really shouldn’t accept orders that they don’t have the capacity to fulfil. So so disappointing.More
I have been in this restaurant many times and on Valentines day my wife and I went in for lunch. We were early (12.15) and first to order and the first thing we noticed was that the place was absolutely freezing. As usual, the food...was very good, their lunch menu being very good value. The staff were friendly and efficient but we were totally uncomfortable and even though we were there for well over an hour, we could not detect that the place was getting any warmer. So bottom line - food good - polar conditions. See you in the summer.More
This is my second time in Kundan Tandoori. The food is quite good but I found it overpriced and the portions were small. The Chicken achari had only a few pieces of chicken breast in lots of sauce. The plain white rice portion was tiny...and much overpriced. The sparkling water was almost the cost of two pints of beer.
I just ate one course and I paid 25€. With water! All this said the quality of food is good. They should reduce their prices or at least offer proper portions. I am not returning. Very sorry as I did like the place.More
I found Kundan on just eat and haven't looked back since. I wouldn't even consider a different Indian takeaway since I found here.
I always get the prawns to start and the vegetarian tikka masala.
Have no complaints the food is incredible!
Don't know where to start with this place.......I e-mailed the restaurant as part of a surprise for my wife on our 30th anniversary. My request wasn't anything too onerous but I simply asked that they decorated the table nice with a few candles etc and...I obviously offered to cover the cost. Even received a reply saying they would do it.
As we approached the shabby looking restaurant complete with filthy front door I was apprehensive as I could see the entire place was empty which is never a good sign but perhaps the service would be first rate. Unfortunately not.....went in and told waiter I had a table booked. "anywhere", were his only words. No welcome, no nothing.
We sat at a table and was dismayed to see not 1 single table had been decorated for us.Beside our table, the wall was filthy with grease and old food.
Waiter who was wearing food stained clothing returned with menus which were absolutely filthy. He then thought it was better to disappear into the kitchen rather than even lighting the stingy little half burnt tea candle.
I tried to put a brave face on things and turn my thoughts to the food. Firstly, I notice through the grime infested menu that a bottle of wine we like to pick up from Tesco is priced at £26. Not being mean but exact same wine is £7 in Tesco!!!!
The food prices were extremely high compared to similar restaurants I visit every week.
After Waiter hadn't bothered to show his face from the kitchen after 7 minutes, we decided to vote with our feet.
I just don't see how people find this level of sub-standard service and cleanliness acceptable. Out of circa 100 Indian restaurants I have reviewed, this place comes in at about 98th.
They nearly ruined our anniversary but thankfully we found somewhere else who actually enjoyed our company all evening with a nice 10 euro tip at end.
Can't see this place will be open much longer hopefully and will now probably get a load of old waffle in defence. Shame on you!!!!More
I have eaten in this restaurant many times but today will probably be the last. The food was not to the standard that we are used to here.Nor was the service. We ordered 4 starters with rice and naan. The naan wasn't cooked as we'd...asked.The chicken pakora was dry and not crispy and the shisk kebab was overcooked.
But to top it all when we complained there was not an apology but the waiters decided it was funny. Sorry to say this but standards have dropped at Kundan and I won't be back.More
Myself & my husband had dinner here Easter Sunday, we chose to eat here instead of the traditional Irish Easter dinner & we were so glad we did. The food was amazing and the presentation of it was beautiful too. Service was excellent and the...atmosphere is very relaxed and enjoyable, I live in the area so have eaten here a few times and had take out a few times also. The decor is a bit tired and could do with a sprucing up but we don't mind that once the food is good.More
