Have been in here on previous occasions for drinks but decided to try the food this time around. The food was delicious, generous size portions and very reasonably priced towards most places in town. Steak was cooked to perfection and the cottage pie was amazing. Staff are always friendly and courteous. Will definitely visit again for food.

Loved it! Visited Arthur's for lunch on a recommendation from a local ("great comfort food" I was told) and the recommendation was spot-on. Got there right as it opened and the place quickly filled up. I enjoyed a delightful Irish Stew with a pint of Guinness and it hit every note. If you're down in the Liberties District touring the distilleries or the Guinness Store House, go find Arthur's and enjoy!

Warm up and homey spot. Seems to be frequented by locals. We visited because some of our group were performing live jazz busy upstairs. Good service, friendly people, great food. We had fish and chips, the Irish stew chocolate fondant dessert , it was all well prepared and extremely tasty!

This pub wasn't even on our list of places to stop but we were on our way to the Guinness Storehouse and STARVING so we decided to give it a try. We were worried when we sat down and heard they were on a limited menu but honestly it was one of the best sandwiches we had during our trip. The atmosphere was everything I've wanted in an Irish pub. I wish I knew the name of the server we had because he knew everything and had clearly worked at Arthur's for a long time. He told us ghost stories and made sure we had everything we needed for the hour that we were there. I highly recommend stopping at this place for a bite to eat or a drink. It's a must see while in Dublin!

Terrific traditional and historic pub operated by the Guinness brewery (thus the name Arthur’s) across from from the church where Irish patriot Robert Emmet was executed by British authorities. We were able to easily find seating for 3 at the street level bar at 9 pm on a Friday night (jazz music was upstairs). Perfect pint of Guinness poured by friendly bartenders. No food served as of yet because of COVID (the bar recently re-opened after a nearly 2 year hiatus.

Pub with a great atmosphere. Friendly staff. The seafood chowder was delicious and so far the best pint of Guinness we have had. No music or TVs so you can concentrate on just making great memories with friends and family

We were a decent bit early for our Guinness tour time, so we stopped here for lunch since it was a short walk away. Extremely glad we did. First, got to try Wicklow Wolf Eclipse Stout, which was amazing. Second, got my first serving of traditional Irish Stew, which I had been craving. It was a hearty dish of generous lamb, mashed potato and vegetables that hit the spot. On top of that, the service was friendly and efficient. Fantastic stop before the tour.

If you want a proper pint of Guinness, in a proper Irish pub - get down to Arthur's. It's a very short walk from the Guinness Storehouse, and I can tell you that it has a better pint than the Gravity Bar at the factory itself - served in the traditional tulip glass, by bar staff who know what they're doing. I didn't eat, but the food looked decent too, and I will definitely go back next time. It's an experience, and worth the visit.

The food was amazing. Irish Stew, Fish and Chips, Birger, and Corned Beef Sandwich. The corned beef was the best sandwich I have ever eaten. I would recommend highly to eat and drink.

Poor service at the bar. My husband and I ordered beer and hot Irish coffee. We got beer right away, and waited 10 minutes for Irish coffee. Because a group of 13 people came and the bartender rushed to serve them, forgetting about me. When the drink arrived it was cold. And the bartender was not very apologetic either. Very unexpected customer service.

Drinks and music...did not disappoint!! Started off a tad rough with my 'special' being underwhelming ...however the atmosphere and live music is absolutely fantastic. A hidden gem in the Liberties!! We were headed to another venue and be lined it to Arthurs...special thanks to the bar staff. Highly recommended!!

The food was fabulous. I had the shepherd pie which I’m not to proud to say blew my own away. My daughter had the Irish stew and it was equally amazing. The prices were very comparable for the quality. Will definitely come back before we head back to the states.

We likely visited at least 50 Pubs around England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland and even though they all look like the same, they are all very different. One thing is that they all have a unique atmosphere. Arthur's Pub is included in the all the same/different. We had a good time, food was good, service also good.
