We weren't as enthused about this place compared to all the many Irish pubs we visited across the southwest of Ireland. It seems very touristy to us. The service was very slow and the food was just ok. The manager/owner seemed like he was trying...More

I went for dinner with a friend at Arthur's, in one of the oldest roads in Dublin. We made a reservation in advance, but it was not much necessary even on a Saturday night. The ambiance of the pub is great. I ordered goat cheese...More

Good choice of beers, good food, good service, good free WiFi. All in a very nice dark-wood pub atmosphere. What else could you want? Within walking distance of the Guinness Storehouse if you want to do them on the same visit.

We were a group of 6 to 10 guys, talking, joking, drinking at a high table. The sign on the table said reservation at 6pm. Arround 4pm we've been clearly informed by a jung waitress to leave the Pub immediately without mentioning any reason!More

The reservation at 6pm had nothing to do with our action. Your group were loud and boisterous. Claire, our Assistant Manager, had already asked you to behave, as there was a lot of other guests enjoying their meals, and your conduct was impacting upon their...More

We visited the Guinness factory and asked for any recommendations for somewhere to eat. She recommended us to go to Arthur's and we were both not disappointed! The food and general vibe was lovely and very welcoming. Home cooked and genuinely good quality food, would...More

Believe me, I ate enough of it to know! We stopped in at Arthur's Pub after our tour of the gaol and before visiting the Guinness Storehorse and I am so pleased we did. Only the downstairs was open but a table was available right...More

Thank you for your very kind review. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip to Ireland as much. Our chef was particularly delighted with your rating of his seafood chowder. Please note that we actually do have an accessible washroom on the ground...More

What a great pub! We stopped here because of a recommendation of a friend and I am so glad we did! From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted like a friend by a gentleman that appeared to be the manager. The...More

Is food just served in the bar area or do you also serve upstairs at the jazz? Can we book a table upstairs for the jazz?

Hi Aoife, We do not serve food at the gigs upstairs. Depending upon the event, it is possible to book a table. This can be done over the phone or by email to our website
