Walked into this place to enjoy a Sunday lunch.
Very nice and well finished place
Very sunny and kind staff
We opted for 2 stews, one beef and one lamb both very good
For dessert we chose a guinness brownies cake and a cheesecake also these impeccable.

Walking in the door and being immediately met with a smile and welcome by Amanda, I was brought to a table and ordered lunch from my waitress, Christina. The wings could be the best I’ve ever had. Certainly top 3 in my life, Christina was able to tell me the sauce for the wings was home made in house, as was the blue cheese dip. Which was exceptional! The ambience of the pub had traditional Irish music playing and fantastic chatter amongst the patrons. For what was to be a quick lunch and some shelter from the rain, quickly turned into an amazing lunch time experience with amazing food and a great time courtesy of the friendly staff. Chef Pedro was able to tell me about how he prepared the food and you could tell from the way he described the process how much passion he has for his job. Couldn’t recommend this place any higher. 10/10

A welcome lunch on our first day in Dublin. The Guinness was served properly and the meat nachos was very good, with substantial helpings of mince, peeled tomatoes, guacamole and soured cream.
The atmosphere was good, with plenty of customers enjoying a drink and/or food. Service was friendly and fast.

We were in Ireland for the first time and after a week had our first bad dining experience here. The bar is not run by the Irish and other than the visual experience, there is nothing about this that is an Irish experience. The bartender had no idea how to make a dirty martini, although a pornstar martini was on the menu. The brownie was supposed to come with vanilla ice cream and came with strawberry instead. It’s a shame that a bar like this in a town like this is so bad. If I were you I would stay south of the river in Dublin if you want the true Irish experience.

Had lunch here on the 2nd of October 2024. A lovely lady served us and the food was good , really nice barman , this was around 2 30 when we came to the pub , we stayed till about 5 30 , a younger girl came on duty and we forgot to pay our lunch bill and she came to our table and gave us the bill and I said I'm so sorry I forgot about it , we were not given the bill. Not a very friendly girl , she did not answer me , older lady very nice , friendly and helpfull

Very poor. We sat down at 9pm and didn’t eat til 2230. They forgot our starters and then blamed others in our group for taking the starters that others had ordered. I paid €26 for the strip loin steak, and it’s honestly the worst steak to price ratio I’ve ever had - I’d be embarrassed to charge €14 for it - tough, leathery, cold, no seasoning. Really, really amateur.
Others in our group left their meal as it was so late when we finally eat and the burgers were bland. Other reviews are pretty good which is puzzling because our experience was downright awful. Won’t be returning.

We come to Dublin around this time of year for the weekend and have found our favourite places to go to for food and drink etc
Our usual bar was closed for renovations and so we found The Parnell Heritage Bar & Grill which didn't disappoint.
We sat in here all afternoon where the friendly bar staff looked after us all day. Drinks were flowing, the sport was on and the food was amazing.
At €5.60 for a Guinness too it beats all the traditional tourist attractions like Temple Bar where you'll pay €7-10+ depending on where you go and what time of day it is.
Really enjoyed our first visit to this place and I can't recommend it highly enough, we have definitely found our new place to visit next year!
If you're after a place to day drink, go for food, want live traditional music, watch sports etc they cater for all.
A few pics of our visit there too.

Nice looking spot, friendly staff BUT the roast sandwich of the day was a huge disappointment. Two very thin slices of "honey baked" ham smothered in a heavily carrot slaw on two nicely toasted bread served with a huge lump of the sane carrot slaw that covered up the ham!. Could t taste any of the ham at all. Then the table next to me lunch arrived. It was a pile of roast beef and gravy! Wouldnt that have been amire appropriate "roast if the day" sandwich?? Instict tells me the ham was left over from a day or two beforehand.
Won't make rhemistake if stoppi g in here again. For the price I could have bought a kilo of slicedham at the nearby grocers.

Absolutely loved it here. The environment is so nice, the staff are very friendly especially Christine whi couldn't be of better assistance. Have to big up the chef Pedro for making such a beautiful meal for us all. U had the beef and my friends had the special chicken.. all is homemade and very fresh and the mashed potato was just the best. Highly recommended.

Our lunch at the pub was an excellent introduction to Irish culture and the art of good service!
The food was simply delicious, we tried the Fish and Chips, the Roast Beef and the salmon toast with soup! Everything was divine and we filled our bellies to walk the rest of the afternoon in the beautiful city of Dublin.
At the end, we had a little chat with Louis who wanted to know where we came from and who didn't fail to give us some recommendations for pubs in the area and even treated us to some secret shots!
It was a divine experience and it's really a shame that Dublin is 2400km away and it's difficult to have an experience like this again!

I booked a table because I wasn't sure whether to or not on arrival Noel greeted me in typical Irish fashion with a big smile and a welcome. After sitting down 1st question do I want a drink, hell yes! I was served one of the best pints of Guinness I have ever had. Followed by a Sirloin Steak cooked to perfection, oh, and then another Guinness! The table service was very professional and they allow you to enjoy your food, but are there ready if you need anything without pestering! Grazie to the guy who was 1/2 Italian ~ I would truly recommend The Parnell Heritage Bar when you are in Dublin, and I look forward to my return!

Reading the reviews we tried it to eat typical Irish dishes!! The meat was stringy, lukewarm and the puree (with cream and spices) inedible. We waited 45 minutes for the dish and unfortunately the wait wasn't worth it.

We came across this place while taking a walk down Parnell st. looking for a place to eat. When we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly host who sat us down right away. The place was aesthetically pleasing surrounded by beautiful decorations that wasn't overwhelming. We ordered the Beef and Guinness Casserole and Catch of the Day with a pint of Guinness. The food was delicious and melted in our mouths. The server was friendly and even took the time to answer all of our questions about the area, didn't seem annoyed by "touristy" questions. Overall, our experience was positive and we will definitely come back and eat here in the future.
