Real authentic Italian restaurant away from the more bustling parts of city centre . Very friendly knowledgeable table service with just the right amount of attention giving diners plenty of space to chat . There was huge choice of starters and mains and all looked...greatMore

Food arrived and dish was served with cellophane wrapping still on it beneath the sauce, giving us a nasty surprise when we cut into it. Service was indifferent Avoid.

Restaurant is in a good location downstairs from the cafe. Nice buzzy atmosphere for lunch. Food was good. Unfortunately there were a lot of fruit flies around which was irritating. On that basis I would give it a miss as it’s unpleasant to be swatting...flies away constantly while eating. It’s a shame.More

We had a lovely evening, the food was great and staff also very good, the only criticism I have is that there were quite a lot of flies. I will return.

Was way way too warm. We left straight after mains as it was so uncomfortable. Service wasn't great and a bit odd (served warm water and had to ask for iced, cutlery & plates placed randomly while looking away etc). But the food was really...nice - I had minestrone for starter and sea food risotto for main which was fab.More

We were visiting from Somerset England. We found the restaurant when walking from our nearby hotel. We had such a superb meal in the evening that on the followind day when meeting up with friends for lunch we decided to cancel our booked reaataurant and...rebooked the Caffe Di Napoli. Again all had such a superb meal, We can highly recommend this restaurant, the seafood risotto is well recommended. A superb place with true italian food. We will definately return on our next visit to DublinMore

My husband and I had dinner here once, after the Hotel Davenport recommended it as a nearby restaurant that served a good dinner. The ambiance is that of a polished Italian restaurant, rather than a simple pizza restaurant. We walked in without a reservation around...5:00. The restaurant did not look busy. The host gave us a disapproving look and asked us to sit wait for a minute to see if he could fit us in. He agreed to seat us. He told us we would have a time limit for dinner, something like 1.5-2:00 hours. We agreed. We have heard similar snobby speeches from other restaurants elsewhere in Europe. (We rarely make dinner reservations in Europe as it is difficult to use our American cell phones.) The table service was fine. My husband ordered a dish with clams, prawns, calamari, tomatoes, etc. He got some ravioli with it. I believe I ordered a meat dish with a mushrooms sauce. I thought my dinner was very good. My husband was not impressed with his dinner. We both liked our salads a lot. The cannoli dessert was excellent. The food at this restaurant was magnitudes better than another Italian restaurant we visited in Dublin.More

One of our go to places in the city is this authentic Italian restaurant. All the staff appear to be Italian and all the food is typical Italian and with a wide variety to select from. Comparing this to other similar restaurants we found that...the price is very competitive, for example, a 9 oz. fillet steak with all the trimmings is just under €30. Starters and desserts are also competitively priced. We both had steak as a main and they were excellent, as were the starters and main course. Coupled with a nice bottle of "Nero D'avalo" we had a wonderful evening.More

Was pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic Italian restaurant in this part of town. Had lots of vegetarian dishes and everything tasted fresh with quality ingredients. The only negative was that we would have had dessert but were running out of time but just...couldn't get the attention of the waiter so just got the bill!More
