Took my wife into this restaurant on Valentines Day for lunch.
From the second we entered, our server made us feel incredibly welcome and was beyond helpful and personable. Didn’t get his name.
The food was prepared in view of the seating area and the kitchen vibe was intriguing in the way that everything ran so smoothly during a very busy time.
The food was beyond exceptional and extremely tasty.
The menu has plenty of choice and you won’t be disappointed.
Highly recommended.

We ordered the Friday night take away. Two starters, two main courses, two deserts and a bottle of wine all for €50. More food than the two of us could see, exceptional quality. Staff were lovely thank you.

Have eaten here so many times and just never gotten around to leaving a review.
Lunch highlight for us is the warm chicken and Stuffing sandwich that is a staple on their menu. Incredible and with the carrot and courgette, or pretty much whatever soup the guys have in, is delicious.
Great coffee and cake selection too.. Cheesecakes are incredible!!
Lovely staff as well and overall nice atmosphere. Doing all they can to respect health guidelines too with a call and collect service.

I ate here with a friend one evening during late summer and the service was fine, though I struggled with my main course, finding it rich and not-quite right. Very unusual for me, I ended up leaving quite a bit of it. Late that night I had cramps and threw up and my guess was that the dish (containing prawns) was responsible.
I am not one to complain in restaurants but I went past the restaurant the next day and I decided to go in and mention it at the counter and, well ... I got my head ripped off by the supervisor. Of *course* I cannot prove the food was responsible (and was not trying to), but I was not pushing or causing a scene, just raising the issue. The response really took me aback and I will not be visiting again.

Food very mediocre . Rashers & sausages tough & clearly reheated. Service poor, beverages cold when food arrived, had asked for it to be served with food. No butter for toast. Very disappointed with this visit

Dropped into Lark today having not been for a while. Was a regular diner when formly The Lovely Food Company.
I was very disappointed with my Chicken Burger that I ordered.
The burger deep fried was too hard to bite into and even as tough when cutting with a knife.
The chips were re heated and overall a very dissatisfying lunch.
I returned it uneaten and in fairness to the Management wasn't charged and an attempt was made to rectify.
Hopefully next time improvements are made and my experience and review will be alot more positive.

We arrived at this nice looking coffee shop today.
We were passing by and liked the look of it.
So we decided to try it out, so we went to park up as we were on our bycicles.
As we were parking up at around 3.30 pm,
We were if you want to call it greeted by a woman who pulled the blinds down on us and said that they were closing.
She was so rude as the door was wide open as we were standing outside.
I'm not sure what her problem was, as we were just looking for a cake or scone as they had an abundance of them, but she seemed not to want our custom, so I just drove away as I have never experienced this kind of heavy handed approach to dealing with customers.
I will not even go back to try it now as I am still in shock from her behaviour.
We are just out of lockdown and I was thinking people in business want to make money.
Obviously I am mistaken.
Well I'm still in shock, so I will have to get my head around it.

Ok what do three friends do after a walk, basically eat the calories we burnt off. And we did this here, at the FABULOUS 'the lovely food cafe'.♡ We had Roxy, my friends dog & our server was the most charming and delightful young man! John was so kind, he got her fresh water and even a few bits if chicken. Such a sweet gesture for Roxy! I also got a takeaway tea, and John helped me rinse my sustainable mug I had with me. Honestly this guy should train all servers how to 'enjoy being around people'. Honestly he made us all feel so welcomed, and made it easier to demolish their OUT OF THIS WORLD Cheesecake and Brownie! Wouldn't miss this little coveted spot in Terenure. Excellent service. Excellent staff. Devine desserts. This place is a 5star cafe!!!

Had great Brunch time here.
Excellent food and excellent service.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including fluffy pancakes with an assortment of toppings, a delicious Chicken sandwich, french toast with toppings and a fresh Caesar salad. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, and the Caesar salad was crisp and refreshing.
Highly recommend the Lark cafe.

My spouse and I went for dinner here this past weekend. It was my first visit to Lark but had noted the bistrot in passing formerly.
It was a quiet evening in the restaurant for reasons I cannot understand. The service was excellent and personable; the menu choices were just right for a casual evening meal and a easy wine list to navigate. The bistrot is well-presented, brightly colored and really clean lines. Strongly recommend it for evening diners: I understand Lark is well known for their brunch options by locals already.

Such a lovely little cafe with outside seating. All food was incredibly fresh and yummy. We sat outside and enjoyed our breakfast alfresco. I had the avocado with poached eggs and potato cubes. Staff highly attentive. Excellent for breakfast!

Had dinner in Lark Saturday night food was really lovely steak was great. Staff really friendly nothing was too much trouble. Good to see it open in evening again.

Food very good. Food fresh. Had tomato soup and chicken caesar salad. The service was good. My only issue is the cafe was freezing cold even though there was radiators placed around the 2 dining areas. I actually got a chill from it.

We have ate here the two mornings we have had in Dublin. I would eat here every morning. The staff is great, the coffee excellent and their hollandaise sauce is the best ever.
