I found the staff to be very unreasonable - asking myself and my date to move to another table three times. Firstly, we moved to a couch, then after about 40 minutes we were asked to move from the couch to a high table (another...More

We had their sets of japas and sushi for sharing. We were a group of three and the sharing dishes were for two so we took both. Definitely enough food. The japas were our definite favorites. Everything delicious. The sushi was good but did not...More

Ate in this place in downtown Dublin, with friends we were visiting. Excellent, well managed atmosphere. Great Bento sets and sushi plates. Loved the pruple glutinous rice in the Bento sets.

Very cozy place good quality Asian good selection, sushi and maki are very good. Bit noisy at evenings and almost always full, you have to book in advance. Service is okay.

Had a very tasty dinner here, never fails to deliver My partner's sushi arrived quite a bit later than everything else but as it's handmade can overlook the wait. Great place 😁

This is a great restaurant with quirky decor, attentive staff and lovely food. I ate with my wife who is vegan who had plenty of options. I was a little underwhelmed with the cocktails but otherwise great. €70 for food, a couple of cocktails and...More

3rd time at this restaurant - the first time I booked it by accident thinking I was booking Yamamori across the street, it’s now a favourite. The menu is tapas-style, you can watch the chefs prepare the food if you sit along the bar area....More

Visited this place for the 1st time during the weekend, tried the veg tempura, chicken with veg, seafood tempura and beef tatiki, everything was delicious, along with the huge jug of japanese lager to accompany the food!

We were looking for something reasonably priced and close to our guest house. We sat in the second room, it wasn't noisy, and the diners on both sides of us helped us choose what to order. Everything was very tasty.

YAMAMORI IZAKAYA, located at 12-13 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, in what was originally Ireland's very first cafe. This old Bewleys building boasts original oriental style decor with a twist. Enjoy the 1940's Chinese and Japanese beer ads and movie posters with a great Asian beer or rice wine, and try our dublin famous homemade Izakaya burger. After your meal we have a lounge downstairs where you can catch a nice Izakaya Lycee cocktail, and enjoy some modern sounds from Dublin's up and coming DJ's. Downstairs is a Japanese style drinking house, serving small Japanese style pub food dishes with great Japanese whiskeys, beers and sake. Come for food or drinks, chill out and listen to some urban lounge deep and soul tunes. The Izakaya has a retro easy going atmosphere and is open 7 days a week from 17:30 and is available for private bookings.
