Amazing lunch - Old fashioned and tasty as hell! Pricey enough but it is certainly a special treat :)

Visited Dan's for lunch a few weeks ago, together with my son, my sister and brother-in-law. No table immediately available, we were advised that there would be a 20-minute wait. However, within five minutes, we were comfortably ensconced, with a member of the bar staff discussing the dishes of the day with us. The Sorrento Lounge is not particularly cheap,... More

This local pub is where Bono often frequents and claims that it is one of his favorite places to visit. My husband and I found the other patrons to be warm and friendly and in good spirits! Good prices and a local feel.

My recent stay in Dalkey has been defined by Finnegan's. We were here for lunch, coffee, tea, cocktails, and to view a rugby match. It is very much a place where you can experience life as a local. The decor is warm with Victorian style dark wood panels and bar, walls of artwork by local artists, and a terrific smiling... More

This pub is an institution in Dalkey, it is well known for its friendly welcoming staff. Food is good and the pint is even better. Tables can be scarce so get there early if you want to eat. A great place to drop into on New Years Eve ( with the rest of Dublin ) and on a cold winters... More

Enjoyed a pint at Finnegan's. Tried the new Guiness offering which was a lighter beer and quite good. This is Bonos pub and where he entertained Michelle Obama before dining at The Guinea Pig. Lovely old style pub.

Visit this spot every few months as it is a half way house for meeting family. It is unique with lovely clientele and always a great atmosphere. All staff here are always focused on their job. Nice drinks and good food...wish every pub could do the same!!

Our daughter always wanted to visit this eatery/pub and try their Guinness, so when she was home from Brussels on a short break, we called in and decided to have lunch based on the menu on offer. Barman was friendly and our waitress Zia was efficient and pleasant. Service was good and the food was very tasty. There may not... More
