My friends took me there to experience an Irish pub and enjoy the Guinness! Oh what a fabulous time we had! The bartenders were very hospitable and awesome! Great atmosphere and great fun! I am told Michelle Obama visited here! and then I did! How cool is that!

The service is fantastic, and if you are a large group they will do table service which is an added bonus, also, the locals are friendly and funny. One downside is that (like many local pubs) it... To those of you unable to hire a car and who are looking for an affordable way of seeing Dublin's coastline try taking the Dart (train) southbound to Killiney and walk back northwards towards Dalkey, for here you'll find one of Dublin's top Family run restaurants. The weather wasn't great on our visit so the walk from Killiney to Dalkey... More

This pub, in the quaint town of Dalky, is a great place to stop for a pint--I hear the food is good but can't confirm this personally. Friendly, family run place with all the charm of a classic pub. Stain glass back windowed room is lovely and Beamish on tap here. Worth the dart ride out to visit this lovely... More

We were on a CIE tour and had some free time so we stopped in for a drink. Beautiful and welcoming. We were told that it was a favorite of author Maeve Binchley as well as Bono and First Lady Michele Obama and their families went there. Wish we had found it sooner and could have had dinner there but... More

Finegans is a nice bar which does an excellent lunch time service & the scampi is E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T. As well is being located in Dalkey Village it is 200 metres from Dalkey DART Station so easy to get to from Dublin City Centre. You never know who you will see there having lunch but think of the lead singer from the... More
