Though Pause Cafe may not be located in the heart of Dublin, you should definitely visit this gem. The atmosphere is friendly, the service is high quality, and the food is excellent. The restaurant is located near the "new" business district in Dublin (think tech), but is not that far from the city center. In addition to great food, Pause... More

Great coffee, good tiramisu, decent pasta. One colleague had a superb vegetarian meal, the other had a different pasta. Mine, a pasta bolognese, was not bad but needed alot of cheese... maybe I'm just picky. The staff was awesome. I'm not sure about how this rates in terms of expensiveness as I'm from a different country and don't know its... More

I go to Pause Café almost every week or two. I've gone with clients and friends. It's tucked away that it's quiet and personal. The owner is one of the friendliest and considerate gentlemen I've met! I'll continue to go for years to come, and I will try to encourage as many new faces to go too.

I've been to Pause Cafe' few good times since it is very near to my workplace and it's definitely the best Italian coffee in Dublin. Furthermore, Alessandro, the owner, is a superfriendly guy, always in good mood and ready to joke. Also prices are very convenient and since I am vegan he prepared some food specifically for me with no... More

I visit this little place once a month for lunch with my boyfriend as we both work in the area. The food is always amazing and so reasonably priced. Not many people know of this place and that adds to its charm. highly recommend a visit! Would recommend the bruschetta with parma ham & rocket.

Nice food, soup and toasted sandwiches are lovely. Coffee is good and massive. I would advise caution at lunch time though, even when it doesn't appear that busy, they can be particularly slow to get your food to you

Almost hidden under apartments opposite the wakeborders in grand canal dock. Super friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a trip to relax for a few minutes! Great coffee, food looked tasty to!

I go here quite often for lunch. The place is small so you will want to avoid the peak lunchtime rush between 1 and 2 pm but apart from that it is an excellent, small, owner-managed cafe and restaurant. They have good deals in the morning on coffee and pastry combos but the real star is the Italian food at... More

We went here for lunch after finding that our two usual places were both full! However that turned out to be a good thing. We had a peek at the menu and saw that the special was gnocchi with tomato and aubergine sauce. That had us sold. I got the penne with tomato and chilli sauce and my dad got... More
