The best food in Oconnell. Brilliant atmosphere and friendly staff. Very nice fish and chips. The best chowder I've ever eaten. Highly recommended !

Just had a quick drink here on our way to meet some friends but we were surprised by how friendly the staff were and how good the atmosphere was. I'd certainly go back.

Chose this pub because it was near our hotel. However, we were not disappointed. My husband enjoyed his fish n' chips while I ate a delightful cottage pie. Service can be a bit slow. Be prepared to hang out and enjoy the ambience.

Although we didn't eat here this time, it was a nice place to go for a drink. I think the prices were good and the staff were lovely.

Central location with a very friendly environment. Large variety of beers... Unfortunately with a pretty dry hamburger and fries not crispy at all!

We are family of four, popped in for bite to eat for dinner on a Friday night. The cottage pie was fantastic. Really tasty. Bacon with cabbage and parsley sauce equally so. Kids meals standard fare but good. Puddings good but nothing special. Great attentive...More
