I recently dined at Amuri in Dublin and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was incredibly delicious, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff were exceptionally polite and attentive. A perfect dining experience. I can’t wait to go back! 🍋

The entrance of the Amuri restaurant is very discreet, it is just a narrow passage leading to a staircase. However, the dining room is very modern and inviting. The staff is nice and efficient. We were a large group of twenty that had preordered a two-course dinner. As always someone had forgotten what this person had ordered, so they had two make an extra main dish, which they did without any protest and rather quickly. My starter was a simple but tasty salad. As main course I had ordered beef file. That was just perfect, The quality of the beef was really high. It was tender and all tendons and fat had been removed and it was not overheated, just as I want it. The beef file was served with a good wine-sauce. That is rare occurrence in a Italian restaurant. Just, perfect. The wine that was preorder and was their least expensive, but still good. Those in our group that had order fish was also happy with their choice. So, I really recommend this restaurant and especially the beef file.

What a great Italian restaurant with wonderful food and each course was carefully served, not rushed so you knew it was cooked well. The servers were so helpful esp a female who helped explain the menu. We were at the early sitting at 5pm so quiet but when we were leaving near 7 it was busier with good atmosphere. The food was delicious, not piled on a plate but we were def not hungry. Tiramisu definitely worth a try. It was a lovely treat. Thank you

Unfortunately very disappointed despite hearing good things about this place. Waited an hour and 15 minutes to be seated, despite having booked in advance and no explanation given.
Left waiting in the cramped entrance, (standing), so was constantly bumped into by waiting staff and customers for over an hour.
Charged for one of the complementary cocktails given to make up for the table delay.
Starters were good but disappointed by the mains, in particular the ragu and aubergine pesto pasta dishes which seemed to lack the key ingredients listed and were extremely basic.
Desserts were mediocre.
Service was poor: had to ask for table water which arrived with no glasses…teas/coffees were cold by the time the milk arrived, which we had to request.
The temperature was very hot-we requested a window be opened but were told no as this would make the other diners cold.
An expensive bill, so a shame we didn’t have a positive experience.

Overall it was a very disappointing experience. It seemed as though our table wasn’t receiving the same service as others as we spent the evening surrounded by a crowd waiting to be seated. The food was very poor, I got the seafood ravioli which was very greasy and seemed undercooked. My boyfriend had a pistachio pasta. The night ended with a waiter connecting another table to ours to seat other guests who had not arrived yet. We were in Sicily last summer which is why this was such a disappointment. Wouldn’t go back.

Ate here today ( July 31st) with my daughter as in town anyway - recommended by Catherine Thomas on radio yesterday and booked straight away as had never heard of this gem before.
It is just off Grafton Street on Chatham Street across from Sheehans pub. The restaurant is upstairs and its entrance does not do it any justice but once we were seated by the perfect window table I knew I had made a right decision!
The staff are great, and met Luca one of the owners who was such fun, the menu was quite limited but so good, my 13 year old is fussy but had pasta with fresh tomato sauce which she gave 10/10, I had the pistachio pasta - fab - the bread and sublime olive oil, the wine ...and the most amazing rosemary potatoes I have ever had as a side and then the tiramisu served in a coffee pot will never be forgotten. I can only recommend you, like I did, try this place as for me it is a total random find and I will definitely be back. Well done all .

Always love Amuri. Food, atmosphere, service was always so good and authentic. It is very expensive though which is a shame as there are so many other better restaurants at this price range. What’s happened the menu though. Only a choice of 3 mains. It’s now v limited and really no choice.
Hope they return to their old ways and fix their menu.

‘Amuri’ is a gem ,hidden away on Chatham Street , behind this modest entrance a staircase leads to a kitchen that is creating beautiful Mediterranean Dishes with authentic Sicilian flavours. The dining room is comfortable , intimate where there was a great buzz from all present .
The menu is small ( always a good sign ) and the service is attentive . Beautiful bread with a local Sicilian farm olive oil was brought to the table to try . We shared starters of the Caponata, Pomodorini e Burrata and an Arancino di Mare , all beautifully presented , so good I didn’t have time to take a photograph of the dishes !
We chose our mains from a variety of fresh pasta dishes , with rich sauces that were full of Italian flavours and again presented beautifully . This is truly a restaurant that wants you to experience Italian dinning as if part of the family , you will not be disappointed , so book your table now ,”Vai cenare e bere vino!”

Beware: Don't come here if you plan to lose weight.. You will fail miserably, like we did. Put on 2 kg the next morning after dinner at Amuri. The food is so good it should be illegal. The hosts: Andrea and Luca; and Mimo the chef, are sweet angels who took good care of all their patrons, even those who didn't have advance reservation like us. I've never been to Sicily but now I must, after trying Amuri dishes. My Italian (and Sicilian too) friends swore the dishes did justice to Sicilian food, it's that authentic. The venue is quite hidden in a busy Chatham street, but once you arrive, it's very cozy with a view of busy Dublin south city center. Arrive early to ensure there are still Canolo left for your dessert. The next table nabbed the last canolo before we did, another reason for us to come back to Amuri. Their menu is quite pricey, but you get what you paid for: the food, the service, the atmosphere.. one of the best Italian fine dinings we found in Dublin so far.

We celebrated the night of December 31st in this beautiful restaurant and I am happy with the choice we made!
Super friendly and courteous staff, very quick.
Well cooked dishes and fresh, Italian ingredients.
The price is a bit expensive but it justifies the city and the preparation/professionalism of the staff.
Very nice place inside, beautiful sign.
I really hope they will do a nice rotation in the menus to make the locals fall in love with our food too. Very pleasant discovery, thanks again!

Stunning Sicilian food in a subtly lit and stylish room. Excellent service, unhurried and professional. I began with the Arancina stuffed with smoked trout, creme fresh and white wine. My friend had the caponata, fragrant with onions, raisins and pone nuts. My main of calamari stuffed with tomatoes, olives and cuncina was fabulous as was her pasta alla sarde. We had a salad of lightly dressed radishes and a bowl of delicious roast potatoes. Bread dipped in olive oil and a fine Sicilian red wine complimented our meal perfectly.Service and cooking was impeccable.

We have been here twice and already booked for two more visits. Having been to Sicily for the first time this year I can say the food tasted just as good (indeed even better) as what we tased in Palermo and Catania. We had the scallops, beef carpaccio and octopus salad starters, the aubergine parmigiana and two pasta main courses and a tiramisu and all were tasty and of the highest quality. They have quite a few well priced Sicillain wine and others from various parts of Italy, many available by the glass. A lovely complimentary limoncello finished off our meals beautifully. Highly recommended but book as it is both small and very popular. The decor is well thought out, all dark green but brightened by two specially commissioned works of art by a Sicillian artist. Its a place to linger and the service is friendly, relaxed and attentive.

Outstanding experience, warm welcoming atmosphere, 5star food both flavour and presentation. Service exceptional. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. We were a large group of 10 and every one of our party left heaping praise on the staff and chef.

I dined at Amuri numerous times, and every time I had unforgettable experience and amazing food. I tried a few items on the menu and believe me when I say this - the food is so good that it should be illegal!
The host Luca, took excellent care of us. The dishes did justice to Sicilian cuisine, and my Italian friends agreed—they’re that authentic.
The cozy venue, tucked away on busy Chatham Street. Arrive early to savor their delightful desserts, like the Canolo and delightful tiramisu. The menu may seem a bit pricey, but remember that you are at the heart of Dublin. In my view, quality of food, service, and atmosphere makes it worth every penny. Amuri is undoubtedly one of the best Italian fine dining spots in Dublin.
