Our experience in this restaurant was very pleasant. Initially, there was a non-small queue at the door. However, the same did not take long and we were quickly selected to go to a table. The environment is beautiful, clean and pleasant, marking a good experience. There was some delay in the delivery of the dishes, however, they came quite tasty. Our impression was that the dishes are super well served, that is, one dish per person is enough. Since we ordered 3 dishes for two people, we had to order to take home. It is indeed a good place to enjoy a brunch. The correct score would be 4.5 for the delay. But I'll give 5 because it's actually an excellent experience to have at least once.

Wow! What a find! This restaurant is amazing. The food was excellent, the staff really friendly and the service first class. We visited on a wet Monday lunchtime and arrived to find a queue outside, however it was worth the 10-15 minute wait to get a table. I ordered the veggie breakfast and my friend had the ‘Half Irish’ breakfast (a smaller version of the full one). Our order was taken promptly and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. I would definitely go back if I returned to Dublin and thoroughly recommend it.

We had a recommendation not to miss the opportunity for breakfast at Jay Kay’s. It was so good we visited each morning (we would not usually queue for a breakfast but were more than happy to wait 15 mins on visit 2!). Well presented, consistently welcoming and friendly staff. Then you get to the food! The Irish Breakfast Burrito was packed full of brekky ingredients and flavour. Absolutely loved it. The eggs Royale and avocado toast with poached eggs were lovely. Jay Kay’s is an absolute must! Enjoy!

The place was friendly and accommodating but coffee was very disappointing as it was barely lukewarm. We didn’t complain as they were busy but honestly the breakfast toast was also lukewarm which overall left a bad taste especially a few days before Xmas 🎅 shouldn’t be too hard to get hot coffee and the food took too long to come out! A real shame because it seemed like a nice place but would not recommend!!

This place has modern vibe and delicious food. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The service is fast, despite the fact that it was on a very busy Saturday morning. We went for full Irish breakfast and it was so tasty we polished our plates in minutes. When we got out, there was a queue of about 30 people outside, so make sure to come early. We would surely come back to eat there on our next visit to Dublin.

Jay Kay's was recommended on a Facebook group, so we decided to start our day trip to Dublin with breakfast here. Had booked a table online for 8:30 but arrived earlier which wasn't an issue at all and we were welcomed warmly and shown to a window table. Drinks and food order was taken and arrived in good time - the pot of tea was strong and the coffee was good quality. We both chose the half-Irish breakfast and these were well-presented with everything being good quality, well cooked and very tasty. We had another round of drinks to wash it all down, and a lovely chat about our plans for the day & some recommendations (including The Hairy Lemon which we visited later that day!). Would definitely visit again next time we're in the city.

Jay Kay's is one of my favourite places to go for breakfast in Dublin. Their menu had such variety, the seating upstairs is particularly lovely, and any time we have visited the staff have always seated us quickly and have been so attentive. The food is DELICIOUS, particularly their breakfast sandwiches. If you want to get breakfast or brunch somewhere central, then this is the place to go.

Went for breakfast having read other reviews, and it was excellent! Piping hot food, (we had a full Irish breakfast, and a half Irish), hubby's full one had two sausages, bacon etc.Great staff, served quickly and efficiently. So good, we went back again a couple of days later, just before leaving Dublin, so had our cases with us. The owner was really helpful and offered to store them safely whilst we ate. This time we went for poached eggs and the Nutella and banana crepes, and again were really impressed! Definitely recommend!! Easy to find, just around the corner from Jervis tram stop in side street.

I had the Irish half breakfast which was good and felt healthy for a cooked breakfast Only disappointment was that the potatoes were quite undercooked. My wife had the poached eggs which were unfortunately over cooked. Staff were attentive and prices were about what you expect in central Dublin

Had breakfast here each morning of our short break in Dublin! Such a good find! Lovely chilled atmosphere, very friendly staff, the girl who served us both times was lovely and such a credit to the place ! Great customer service makes people want to return and how right it was. Beautiful food, I had the Irish breakfast burrito and my husband had an omelette. All of the other food we seen coming out looked delicious. Would 100% reccomend this cafe to anyone 🫶

Incredible Full Irish Breakfast, great selection of food on the plate, but not a massive and intimidating portion. The ingredients were individually seasoned so well, the sweet pepper and tomato relish was delicious too. I had the cold pressed O Jay, which was super refreshing Friendly and welcoming staff 10/10

Despite the crowds, we got a table quickly, nice service, super tasty selection of freshly squeezed juices (I had the combo). I had the half-Irish breakfast, which was very tasty, the quantity was perfect and the ingredients were fresh. Great selection of food and drinks.

Me and my partner for lining up for a different breakfast place however the queue was ridiculous, Jay Kay’s was right opposite so we thought we’d try it out. OMG it was the nicest breakfast we’ve ever had! We both had the Irish breakfast, I was able to swap my mushrooms and tomatoes and toast for things I liked. Our lattes were so luxurious and the staff were amazing. We were only in dublin for the day and this was definitely a highlight for us. Highly recommend!
