Excellent service provided by Dhruvi. We had Tandoori kalmi chicken, Chicken 65 and sea scallops for the starters. Scallops was a little different experience for me but bothe the chicken items were extremely delicious. For mains, we had Goan fish curry which was very perfect as it should be, special compliments to the chef for that also, we had Malabari prawns which was tasty as well, very much recommended if you like coconut flavour with some spices. Very much impressed with the food. I had 2 cocktails, white russian which was little strong but nice and Galway grey which had a nice touch of tropical and different. Both of them were well garnished and I liked them as well. I got the rice kheer in the dessert which was also nice. There was bollywood music playing in the restaurant which was a cherry on the top and gave a good feel to the decent ambience that was in the restaurant. I think the food was worth for the money (little expensive as compared to other restaurants probably but worth the taste). I had a great experience here overall. And I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and specially Indian who crave for perfect Indian taste in Dublin. Will definitely visit back !!

Dhruvi and the chef seem to have left a lasting impression with their delicious creations, and it's evident that you appreciated the flavours and presentation of the dishes.
The variety of cocktails you mentioned, especially the White Russian and Galway Grey, adds a nice touch to your meal. And ending the dining experience with a delightful rice kheer dessert must have been a sweet way to conclude your visit.

We recently visited Khushee on a Friday evening. I made the reservation on a very short notice but the staff was very accommodating and saved a table for me inspite of being super busy on a Friday evening.
The recently revamped drinks menu was a bomb! We ordered a few cocktails and they were absolutely delicious!
For the starters, we had Samosa Chaat and Chicken 65 and they were absolutely on point. The samosa chaat was itself sooo filling and I believe they have changed their preparation for Chicken 65, which has made it even more delectable.
For the mains, we ordered Dal Makhani and Kadhai Paneer. We had asked the staff to make it extra spicy and we were not disappointed. The food reminded us of the food that we used to have back home in New Delhi, India. Really enjoyed the creamy texture of Dal and the flavour of Paneer dish. The Garlic Naan Bread was full of garlic and was super soft to eat.
We were so full and didn’t have the capacity to try out any desserts but I’m sure they would have been as good as their food.
Overall we had a lovely time at the restaurant and the staff is very friendly and welcoming and for sure they know the food and drinks they were offering!
I will definitely visit the restaurant in the future.

First off, the food is perfectly made, I go almost every Friday with my husband for date night and I just want to say how satisfied I am with the place, staff and food. I enjoy getting the chicken makhani with my wine since it has a sweeter taste, I rate it a 10/10, My Husbands favourite is the Crispy Peri Peri Prawns for his starter and the chicken tikka as well as his usual cobra beverage. The staff are welcoming and cheery. We both absolutely love it there and definitely recommend to go for a lovely dinner night out!

I was expecting good things from this place but I was very disappointed! The staff didn't have a clue what they were doing. It took 3 separate people to take a drinks order for 2 people. The waitress spilled our drink and didn't even apologise. Most of the staff didn't have a clue what they were doing, no organisation, communication or friendly manner. The food was HORRENDOUS!! I ordered the chicken Madras 65 as a starter and it was a deep fried chicken tender on a plate, no flavour whatsoever. Then I ordered the chicken tikka Caesar salad for mains and it was soaked in dressing, just a mess! I would recommend going to soooooo many other restaurants with better food and service. 100% will not be returning!!!

I am sad to read that your experience was not up to your expectations for which I would like to offer my sincerest apologies. At KHUSHEE Sandymount we constantly strive to ensure the food and drinks offered and also service is kept to a high standard. “Our trainee staff member may have spilt drink on you for which she felt sorry. perhaps she could not say to you at that time because she was nervous”.
I am sorry if our Madras Chicken 65 and Chicken Tikka Ceaser Salad weren’t to your liking. Although, it's our customer's favourite.
Our barman visits your table because your table was a large group and he wants to reconfirm the order to provide good refreshing drinks & cocktails. Which I am sure all of the guests loved it.
Our staff are very well experienced, our guests always praise their service and friendly manner hospitality. This is sad to read your comment on them, I will personally address this and assure you it will improve better.

Have just had a very disappointing takeaway from this restaurant .we ordered chicken biryani n couldnt believe when it came .having waited over n hour for delivery .when it came it was cold ,this was bad enough but there was no sauce for the biryani .what was in the bag was a pot of yogurt .when i phoned the restaurant to complain i was told the menu had changed n they dont do a baryani sauce any more . .so a biryani dish with no biryani sauce !!! Go figure . I have had biryani dishes in many different restaurants n have NEVER had it without a sauce . So i will be avoiding this restaurant at all costs .hope this is helpful .

Allow me to explain that, At KHUSHEE Sandymount we serve our guests Awadhi style biryani AWADHI Style Biryani goes very well with Burhani Raita ( Creamy Garlic Yoghurt) or Traditional Baghare Baingan ( Stir fry aubergine, home ground spice in coconut milk sauce) when customers place orders we have given these two options on the menu. These two complementary sides with biryani are the best-accompanied dishes with biryani in Indian Cuisine, worldwide. However, I am sorry if you did not like our Biryani and side yoghurt. Please consider allowing us to serve you again in the future.

Khushee is an Indian restaurant that’s has been located in sandymount village in the affluent south county Dublin 4 For many years, I find the quality of service and food to hold a consistent high standard and does not deviate as often seen in other establishments. Born and raised in this area it excites me to have such a cultural and alternative food option.
The staff are extremely warm and friendly and will do everything to make your meal and visit as comfortable as possible. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile and shown to your table. The menu has wide range of culinary options with an excellent wine list.
Food is excellently presented on hot plates to a standard that equates a luxury hotel. No matter the dish you order the standard is the same across the board. Food is always fresh, prepared and served with care and attention to detail.
Finally the environment in which you dine is a modern art deco inspired by Indian/Bangladeshi culture. The floors are rich in colour sparking emerald green and pearl tiles, with cleaver colour matchings on soft furnishings.
This is a truly excellent place to dine and would recommend any visitor or long term resident of sandymount to pop in for a good meal.

I want to commend the staff in Khushee, in particular the head waiter who very kindly arranged for a mixed vegetarian curry to be made by the kitchen even though it was not on the menu. It was excellent - not too oily and full of fresh vegetables. I am not a local but I will definitely return. Well done to the team in Khushee.

Have not been in Khushee is some time.
But was very pleased to see what was new, as well as the main menu, they have added a super Christmas Menu with great value.
2 course for 32.00€
We had the best Chicken starter called Pathankot ki Tangdi. We actually ordered an extra portion we liked it so much.
For my main I had the Lamb Nilgiri. Super taste and flavours.
Our little one had the kids menu which she enjoyed a lot.
Hope to get back before their Christmas menu is finished up.

Food is not great, but it is too expensive comparing other best indian restaurants across dublin. Staff is very rude and stares as if we have came for some free food or they doing some favour by serving us. Very very bad experience, will not recommend at all.

We had a fabulous experience here. Best Indian restaurant I have ever visited and I would highly recommend. We were walking one day and saw this restaurant. Tried it & since then we’ve been regulars. I’m an Indian & can vouch this is by far one of the finest Indian restaurants Dublin has to offer. I love them for their consistency. There hasn’t been one instance when we were left disappointed. Love their paav bhaji & dal makhni so much so that I feel it is better than India sometimes. The owner takes personal interest going table to table sometimes to ensure comfort. He had once offered us an out of the menu dessert: Kulfi which we loved. Khushee is literal translation of “happiness” in Hindi and there is no doubt about it.

I have been a regular here for many years. The staff have always done an excellent job at making me feel valued and are generally very nice. The food is very high quality and the owner has expressed a strong focus on authenticity to me. They have hired at least one chef who formerly worked in a Michelin star restaurant.
I recommend the Mango Lassi, the Goan Seafood Curry, the Jalfrezi, the Tandori Chicken Tikka starter and the Garlic Onion and Corrieander Naan bread.
Can't emphasise enough though. I love the staff. They're great and I wish them well.

Fantastic place - I had a great evening in Khushee with friends. It was my first time in this place but definitely not the last one. I really enjoyed my visit here. Food was excellent and beautifully served. Service was great - friendly, smiling and helpful.
This was the best Indian food I ever had and I can only highly recommend Khushee to the people who are looking for great restaurant experience.

Had a superb authentic curry in Khushee. If you know Indian food and like freshly made and not heavy oily curries then this is for you. Luxurious interior, reasonably priced and very accommodating staff. I’ve been to so many 2 and 3 star Indian Restaurants and there are only a handful of 4 and 5 star ones in Dublin. This is the real deal. The food in Khushee is up there with the best. Top top quality.
