I cannot praise this restaurant enough! My boyfriend and I recently stayed in Dublin for a few nights and were recommended Terra Madre by a bartender at another restaurant. We were slightly unsure about eating Italian food instead of the traditional Irish food in the area, but boy were we wrong. This quaint little place has hands down the BEST... More

Great. Loved everything about it. Would definitely come back. Marco and Gabriel were very attentive - and loved the small menu!

I used to love this place, highly recommending it to a bunch of people. Recently though, I took my friend there for her birthday and we felt utterly disrespected and disregarded by the shockingly rude waiter (not sure if he's the owner/manager). To make sure we got a good table, I had booked a table well in advance. That day... More

A hidden place. The place was tiny and we were the only ones there for most of the time. The service was slow even though there was no-one else there. The food was lovely but the portions were very small. I don't normally eat dessert but needed to as I hadn't had enough from the main course. The menu was... More

Delicious simple traditional Italian food and even better wine in a cosy authentic setting! We were in for a late lunch, around 3 o'clock, and midweek so were the only people there. We felt like we had popped in to our neighbours for lunch the atmosphere was so relaxed and homely (Ok..if our neighbours were wonderful Italian chefs that is).... More

Fantastic quaint setting, brilliant hosts and exquisite food. Some previous comments have said limited menu I believe they probably would have been better in the all you can eat buffets. The menu was diverse in flavours and all dishes we tried were cooked to perfection with excellent ingredients. The restaurant only holds a small number of tables but they are... More

Cool cosy intimate space boasting probably the best Italian fare in Dublin. I could have drank the olive oil straight from the bottle. The starter of Baratta Mozzarella was flown in from Napoli that morning, I never knew Mozzarella could induce euphoria in me.The ravioli with black truffle was one of the best pasta dishes, I have ever eaten..in my... I have been there.. won't go back. Menu is limited, very limited. Food is mediocre! Mozzarella was good but the way they served it was awful.. presentation was really bad! Wine was Italian.. was good but too expensive (even a glass of wine). Place is very small 4 to 6 small tables. Owner is the waiter apparently and he was... More

The starters almost never stopped, the creamy buffalo mozzarella and the roasted ham with red onion marmalade being highlights. Onto the secondi, the pasta was amazing, bettered only by the wine (the Valori Montepuliciano d'Abruzzo). Great team too, all friendly Italian bellos. We had a super 72nd birthday celebration there but this place would just as easily suit a second... More
