Tasty hot plentiful carvery dinner. Efficient service and no skimping with the dinner. Deserves its Leinster carvery of the year accolade. Only downside is no desserts available.

From their carvery to their selection of beers and whiskies, you can't go wrong at the 51. Pre and post game crowds from the Aviva nearby are always lively and fun.

One of the longer established bars in the Haddington Road area, the 51 is popular with a wide-ranging clientele. Although it was a Saturday evening when we visited, it was not over-crowded or too noisy .It was possible to to conduct a conversation without having...More

How I wish our local pubs had such character and energy. We were staying near Haddington Road, where this pub is situated. It advertises meals at silly prices, but we thought "where is the catch"? There isn't one! This pub is full of life, characters...More

The serve great dishes at very good price - including a pint of beer! They're located at Dublin 4, a little walk from Trinity (around 20mins), my favourite dish is the beef served with sauce and mash. Staff are very nice and helpful, the environment...More

Food that's been under lights all day? Giving what it is I'd rate it 9 out of 10 or even 9.5. Can I rate it at 10? I mean it's a carvery and exceeded all expectations. Nicer than most roast dinners other pubs cite to...More

Situated on picturesque Haddington Road, Ballsbridge, The 51 is a modern, spacious pub in the heartland of Dublin 4. The 51 is part of the Quinn group and features one of the largest collections of whiskey from around the world. We do a lovely Sunday Carvery, carvery lunch Monday to Friday, and an evening meal deal Monday to Saturday. The evening meal deal is any main course and a drink (pint or longneck, glass of wine or soft drink) for only €12.
