What a great place to build up and get ready for the Munster vs Toulouse game on Saturday at the Aviva. Sharing a couple of pints in an awesome historical pub in Dublin, with great music and atmosphere, making new friends - awesome!

We stopped in for a quick dinner but stayed for a second Guinness. The food was very good, and the service was quick and friendly. Deffinatels worth a stop by if you are in the area.

Amazing food, the best spicy wings I have ever eaten, pricey, but well worth it. Beautiful blue cheese dipping sauce, excellent crispy fries, spot on!! Great vibe with live music, would highly recommend

I went there on my last night out of three. Went there for lunch and had a wonderful Irish chowder. Staff at the bar most friendly. I mentioned I would return in the evevning and the nice waitress( ponytail, great smile, light brown hair) said it would...be crowded but she might secure me one of those high chairs at the bar. I came back at around nine o'clock and the palec was packed. No need to worry if you are on your own. easy to talk to people there and guess what. After tenty minutes that same nice waitress produced a chair after she saw me standing. Yes, drinks are expensive but you do not live there so why not give yourself a treat. The evening with singer dave was great, pub crawlers kept coming in, and stag / hen night people and it was just a lovely cosy great music evening. I will definitely come back. The lovely waitres even took time to step outside to show me where to catch a taxi. Place to remember ang o to again!!More

Really really nice pub, unfortunately we didn't had the chance to hear the music. This looks really like one would expect from an irish pub. The service a bit absent, but the atmosphere and finally the quality of the food pays it back. I would...go there againMore

As with any first timers in Dublin you try to explore as many places as you can during your trip - this was one of the very few places we visited on more than one occasion!! We went in here on our second night and...had such a good night, we had a full night on the whiskey with some brilliant live music - absolutely loved it! The place was very busy and I can see why, the good thing was even though it was really busy it was not uncomfortable - we managed to grab ourselves a decent spot with a table and had a great view of the live singer that night. The atmosphere of the place was awesome, best place we went in Dublin easily. The singer (Jake Suleman if I remember correctly) was insane, so so good - we loved how energetic and upbeat the whole evening was, hats off to that man! The drinks compared to a lot of places in Dublin were reasonably priced to be fair and all of the staff we came across were very friendly and efficient. Overall, we loved it and would recommend anyone a visit when in Dublin!!!More

Very family friendly. Prices within acceptable range for the menu items we purchased. Fish and chips were great. Live music and patrons singing gave us a better taste of pub life than some other experiences we had. I don't recall seeing a glum face in...the crowd and would gladly return someday all things considered.More
